I get what @Fortuneseeker is saying, I'm not looking at a particular case or digging out anyone, but I hear and understand his viewpoint. There are times on here that if your comments don't align with majority, you feel somewhat pushed out of the 'in group'.... It is what it is and sadly IMHO I feel that is why the number of posters have dwindled over the past years. I still love it on here, whether people agree or not with my viewpoints, but as said, I do get what Fortune is saying.... Anyhow, COYI, I hope this season is a great one and we can get back to the PL at the 1st attempt....
MrsG, In the same breadth you don't know he did do you?
Of course. No, I don't.
The difference is, it seems to me, you are critical of him based on something you don't know happened.
I am not expressing an opinion on his managerial style or qualities.
I am sorry you feel you are being 'dug out'. My own perspective is that everyone can express an opinion, but equally, everyone is free to disagree with an opinion posted. That is how the site has always been. No personal insults allowed, but no opinion sacrosanct.
If all we did was state our view, there'd be no discussion. But if all people want to do is state their opinion ' for the record ' but not discuss further, that's ok too.
Discussion and debate arises when people express an opinion and then engage with others who have a different one.
Part of that is judging/exploring if an opinion is well-founded and can be shown to be based on good evidence.
But as I said, no member is forced to defend their position. But no member's position is protected from challenge.
I can see both sides on this one. It's a perfectly reasonable thing to ask where did you read/hear this if someone is stating something as happened or has been reported, but at the same time it's perfectly ok to write in terms of impressions we get about a player/manager even if we can't substantiate them. This is a normal part of life as we don't always have information but do speculate or infer things from related matters. There is definitely some evidence that Nuno can be prone to falling out with players or them falling out with him, JWP, Todibo, AWB are all candidates, whether it be from a footballing or personal point of view, so once we see it once we may speculate if it's happened again with someone else.
This is a football forum and cross examination is not always necessary, although I certainly understand wanting a link to verify something if it's stated as a fact. If wanting to get things sitting perfectly it's all about how it's written but sometimes I am not sure we can be bothered when just trying to contribute and chat away, and sometimes when it's phrased wrongly it can invite others to just use the use the 'where did you hear this?' and not always sincerely. So where did you read this? can be used sincerely or not and it can be avoided through language but as I have mentioned we don't always consider that.
If we wanted to.
It feels to me that Nuno may have fallen out with AWB and if that's the case I can see him being sold.
Nuno and AWB have fallen out and I can't see him playing for him again.
The second will leave you open to a 'link please' call, which may be sincere in most cases but you may occasionally feel other than.
WHU, Rumours are the Parrott deal is off & we are getting Piroe on loan from Leeds? Should be using our scouting network to bring in some new players from across Europe.

More than happy with Piroe, his 4 seasons in the champ with Leeds and before that Swansea
Basically averages a goal every other game, so think its a sensible move. Hes 27 but literally turned it this month, so right in his prime. Not required at Leeds so probably won't cost us much, so like Solomon seems a low risk-high reward kind of deal
WHU, Please read the comment as I raised the concern we will have an obligation to buy Piroe, IF the rumours are correct, and he hasn't done anything worthwhile at Leeds since they got promoted. A player who probably won't be of much use to us in a years time? We already have Pablo to fill that place in our squad.
I don't think it's realistic or practical to restrict our player transfers to those who are guaranteed to be a success in the Pl, assuming we get promoted.
Not enough of them will come. We can't afford enough of them.
I'm with Luke - get people who can do the job we need them to do now.
I'm not saying to not look for players with potential, or experience, but we have a massive hurdle to get over before any of that becomes an issue.

If he helps gets us promoted he'll have already paid back the fee
The important thing is promotion
Once we get back to the Prem we can worry about that
I would be pretty sure Todibo will go out on loan as he is not likely to play for Nuno, as even Kilman is starting at present, yet no club will give us anything like what we paid. I predict a loan to get wages off the book and a new centre back arriving.

So MrsG you will be ok with us getting Vardy to help us gain promotion?
If I thought he would help then obviously - the thing is I am far from convinced that he would.
Leicester let him go once they were relegated and likewise Cremonese let him go when they were relegated so I am struggling to see him as the answer to our prayers.
I personally wouldn’t get Vardy unless we get to the end of the window with no striker signed, he’s be a last resort, but he is also proven at this level & will score goals
I am not excited by Parrott, I think he’s a gamble at the figures being touted, & would much rather somebody like Piroe or Isidor

Hopefully can fill the gap left by Fernandez
Hermansen
Walker-Peters - Mavropanos - Kilman - Diouf
Kanté - Engels
Bowen - Pablo - Solomon
Taty
With possibly improvements to be made to Kilman & Pablo before the window ends & Souček to return.
I mean, if that is the case come September, I think we can all be pretty pleased with the squad.
As far as I'm aware, none of these 5 above were injured but missed the game, so have to assume they're all off
Kinda wanted Alvarez to stay especially as he was linked with staying, but dont begrudge him for moving
AWB was never going to stay, haven't seen enough from Magassa and honestly I'm glad Todibo and Fullkrug are off
Still big ask to keep Taty, hopefully Parrott is to support him not replace him
24/25 - 19G + 7A
23/24 - 14G + 3A
22/23 - 19G + 2A
21/22 - 22G + 4 A
