West Ham United are one of the clubs interested in signing 20-year-old English Brighton winger Tommy Watson, joining other interested Championship clubs including West Brom, Leicester City, Hull City, and Derby County. The Sunderland Echo reported on Saturday that West Ham are interested in signing the England under-20 international on loan. West Ham United could offer the winger, who was on loan at Millwall last season, regular playing time as they seek an immediate return to the Premier League. Those close to Watson are reportedly keen for the attacker to play regularly, with their priority being to find an environment where he can build rhythm and consistency over a full season. Watson joined Brighton in July 2025 and his contract there runs until June 2029. His market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be β¬7.00m.
Hull City are of course a Premier League team & Leicester City in Division 1.
Wonder if we could convince Delap on loan with an opion to buy
His move to chelsea has gone horrible and my Chelsea cousin says his confidence is so low, but hes a guy who did well for Ipswich he should smash the championship
Also, we're favorties to go up, so should appeal to him as other than Ipswich (who haven't shown interest) hes not been linked away at all
Delap is not short of potential suitors should Chelsea look to part ways with the 23-year-old, with Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United all keen to sign the striker.
