So following on from the comments re the half time show for the World Cup, any thoughts re the “Kick off show” for the CL final.

A 6 minute show by the Killers, kind of impressive to set it up and pull it off but I am left wondering as to the purpose - it doesn’t work for me, I think it takes away from that magical moment when the teams walk out but what do I know….

    So despite dominating possession PSG were unable to create a meaningful chance and I do not think that Raya had a save to make - Arsenal’s back line have held fast and especially Gabriel- he has been outstanding.

    Very few chances but if anything, Arsenal probably had the best of them to extend the lead but Havertz just overrun it

    Understand why VAR checks penalties but cannot understand why it takes so long - absolute slam dunk of a penalty - PSG level - game on

    I do not understand why coaches take the chance by deploying all their subs - there are 25 mins to go and Arsenal have no subs left yet at this stage - cramp or other injury is all to likely .

    Surely it makes sense to keep one back for emergencies

    So penalties it is - it delivers a result but never feels satisfactory.

    PSG had more about them but just could not break Arsenal down

    Better team won, can’t believe Arsenal get that far to sit behind the ball for 2 hours in a compact, low block.

    I thought that the Kick off show was unnecessary and tacky, particularly with the Pepsi branding being so prominent. I fear it will be 10 times worse at the World Cup.
