Sadly Celtic pip Hearts to the title, I think all who have witnessed the VAR decisions over the last week will feel it's had more than a little help from the officials, Scottish football seems corrupt.
Not a game that will last in the memory - my takeaway unfortunately is that Chelsea are actually quite poor, they did not do much to threaten the city goal nor really compete anywhere else on the pitch.
Despite the rivalry, I have little expectation that they will be able to raise themselves to beat Spurs on Tuesday.
I thought Chelsea played pretty well and restricted one of the best teams around to very few chances. They got nothing from the ref/VAR including from 5 penalty shouts one of which looked good to me. If they play with that energy against Spurs I reckon they will win.
The Chelsea compere at Wembley this afternoon was very keen that they won on Tuesday. From what I saw today if they aren't sent out to play a restricting game and go at Tottenham they could win especially as 8th might get them into Europe?
That aside - really entertaining game - there is something really irritating about Fernandes but to be fair - his display, especially in the second half was a masterclass.
thorn, Although I do fully understand and share your concerns lets first be in a position ideally where them having nothing to play for is an issue. Chelsea need to win first on Tuesday after we win today for it to become an important factor or is that just me?
I thought Arsenal looked really good in the first half, dominated play, created chances and it never felt like they wouldn’t score, the second half however…..they looked nervous, let Burnley get back into the game and created almost nothing to suggest they would be adding to their lead.
Havertz was without doubt lucky not to get a red and at the end of the day, I think Arsenal can count themselves lucky to secure the three points, if Burnley had more about them in the final third the result would have been very different.
To be fair - given that they have come second these past few seasons, if indeed they finally get across the line this time around it is really hard to begrudge them… however…. If it ends up that City pip them at the post, I will allow myself a little chuckle.

They really showed nothing today
It was.
I think if the ref had given red, it would have stood also.
Rice having another excellent game. 😭
