Other Games from 1st May

  • Forest equalized and Newcastle looking very nervy.
  • 3 draws so far today. Let’s hope the trend continues. Forest and Leeds more or less safe. It’s down to us and Spurs.
  • Hearts had a terrible decision go against them yesterday as they sought to take a huge step to the title. Opposing player didn't go in the direction of the ball but tried to cut off the player instead, stood on his foot but somehow no penalty despite VAR asking the ref to review it. Some decisions do make you question the idea of corruption.
  • Spurs 0-0 at half time.
  • Spurs score.
  • If that stays as it is, that will be that
  • It was already that.
  • Fair play to them. It would be 3 wins on the bounce, something we can rarely ever achieve.
  • Yeah. We got ahead of them in the league, and we’ve lost the last two. It’s a real shame as I think our form since January doesn’t deserve relegation, but we were dire until the QPR game.

    Must be a Leeds penalty.

Edit: VAR has sent the ref to the screen 🤞🤞🤞.
  • I know the league does not lie but by any measure we have been unlucky……so many instances that I can think of…not least that Forest game….I KNOW

    ho hum
  • Penalty Leeds.
  • DCL scores, 1-1.
  • BBC live text someone said an overhead kick by an attacker where he hits the defender is “always” a free kick. Another of those really weird rare decisions that went against us this season
  • Millwall losing. =)
  • 13 minutes added for Spurs.
  • Var check in the 103rd minute for a Spurs Pen...
  • 13 mins up, Spurs corner.
  • And another Spurs corner, 14 and a half minutes played.
  • And another corner.
  • And hope again
  • Beat Newcastle, that’s all we can do & then we go from there

Im in hospital having been pulled in for a kidney transplant at 2:00 am on Sunday morning, so following both games via here. We are still in it, just need to win at least one more game than Spurs whilst lose one. Looks like Kinsky has been their saviour over the last few matches.

    Transplant has gone well.

  • Blimey, Dodger.

Good luck for your recovery 💪👍
  • It’s still game on. I hate relying on other teams but I can’t see spuds beating Chelsea. We need two wins, simple.
  • Great news on getting a match and transplant Dodger, wishing you a speedy and complication free recovery 🤞🤞🤞. Puts things in perspective.
  • Get well Dodger ,Thinking of you
