  • That’s that then. It’s now up to us tomorrow.
  • After last weekend it was always going to be up to us. As long as at the very least we match what Spurs do, that will keep us up and send them tumbling.
  • I would imagine that us winning tomorrow really would be demoralising for them as they would be 4 points off safety then and considering how long they were leading yesterday that really would be a kick in the teeth.

I also read that Wolves are their bogey team so they might actually not win.
  • I don't think we expected Forest to slip up today but that is the last of their easy matches on paper, me fear is that Chelsea are now not the side they were earlier in the season and they could let us down against Forest and Spurs.

Should we manage to win tomorrow things will actually begin to look very bad for Spurs. Please let it be.......
  • From sublime to ridiculous in seconds at City.
  • Crazy
  • The pace and intensity of this City game is just crazy, it has felt like the final five minutes of a cup final for 45 minutes. I am hoping Arsenal win as I would really like them to be Champions by the time they visit us.
  • Or they could be really nervous about bottling it just like Spurs a few years ago when Lanzini scored and they’d lost the chance.
  • Referee and VAR showing they are afraid of big teams and big decisions again. Headbutting now allowed apparently. I feel certain that if Tobido does that he is off.
  • City now just 3 points behind with a game in hand, and just 1 goal worse off in goal difference. Have Arsenal bottled it again?
  • It could go to goal difference now so I wouldn't fancy being Burnley in the week.
  • So I went onto the Fighting cock last night for entertainment and they call Arteta “Lego Head Man” I had not heard that before and now I cannot unsee it 😂

I think it could all go down to the last game of the season at both ends of the table, and for European places.

It's a cracker, but I hope we are safe by then.

If Gabriel had been sent off he would have been suspended for the game with us.
  • I look forward to hearing how they justify not sending him off. This was not two heads together in a closing of distance, he directed his head forward with force in a violent act.
  • I don't know if they can upgrade it to a red but it should be. I think a player got a red the other day for a slight hair pull. Referee's/VAR are incredibly poor in the Premier league. I don't think they are corrupt but you can see how some think they are as it is so blatant when VAR is there to replay it.
  • candbsky, They will probably say there wasn't sufficient contact as they roll that excuse out when not giving penalties which they would give at Anfield, Old Trafford etc.
