Brook given out for caught behind, but he's nowhere near it, so he survives on review. Next ball he's not given, and Australia review, and this time he has nicked it. 123-5.
3rd Test starts this evening at 11.30pm. Despite winning the toss and losing the first 2 Tests, this is another huge toss to win, especially as we're not playing a front line spinner again on a pitch that's more likely to turn, especially by the fourth innings.
Oh well, Australia won the toss and obviously will bat. Cummins back for Australia, but the cheat Smith misses out through illness (or karma maybe?). Tongue in for Atkinson as was expected is our only change from the last Test.
326-8 at close of play, but we had chances for it to have been better. We're still just about in it, but it's going to be an uphill struggle to get anything from thhe match.
@buffybegood have you seen that the Aussies Snicko used the Mike from the wrong end to fail to give Carey out caught behind on 72? Looks more evenly balanced at the moment, but we haven’t batted yet!
