  • I get traumatised every time I visit twitter now, something what started out with being able to see what Stephen Fry got up to today now seems hell bent on breaking down democracy and propelling right wing parties into power in every available country. Who'd have thought it?

Yeah there’s that too. Though my feed was probably a bit intense than most in the first place now but now it’s just right wing stuff and Potter’s face thanks to the algorithm.
  • Not been twitter since that maniac Musk bought it.

Potter's been sacked. So have all of the coaching staff.

  • Timing is very odd
  • Did not expect that today
  • Strange timing, but writing was on the wall.
The board now have a massive decision to make..,,
  • Typically shambolic to let him do the painful pre-match press conference, get to the game weekend, then sack him.

Surely they knew after Palace they were going to do this?
  • Will it be Nuno ,Can't see who else it could be .But it is West Ham so who knows .Decanio anyone =)
  • round and around we go, no new manager is solving this, I expect the new manager to have the same non-existent "new manager" bounce that Potter had. Player are not good enough and have got the manager sacked.
  • I know quite a few people believe the protests are a waste of time but they are gaining support and the board possibly think making a change will reduce the criticism being directed at them. From what I understand it will probably make no difference to the plans to try to get rid of Sullivan & Brady.
  • I hope it is Bilic, even only short term
  • There are no plans to get rid of Sullivan and Brady. How could that work.
  • Not surprised really, but how many managers do they need to get through before they realise there are bigger problems at the club?
  • BBC are reporting it's going to be NES.
  • BBC saying it is Nuno .Good luck he's going to need it
  • There are no plans to get rid of Sullivan and Brady. How could that work.

Apologies that should have read their (Protesters) plans to try to get rid of S&B.
  • The rate that they’re going through mangers I reckon I’ll have a shot in a couple of years.
  • Sullivan is the principal shareholder, and if he does not wish to leave then there is nothing anyone can do about it. No amount of protests will have any effect, and it is foolish to think otherwise. It’s all pert of the fun of being a West Ham supporter!
  • Typically shambolic to let him do the painful pre-match press conference, get to the game weekend, then sack him.

Surely they knew after Palace they were going to do this?

Guessing they were waiting till they had the new manager 100% lined up.
  • Whoever it is has to bring in a whole backroom staff, unless Nobes will sort things for Monday. Never known a manager and staff being sacked just before a game. Should have been straight after the Palace game
  • We’ve got the fewest number of points in the PL among all the ever present sides since Potter took over.
  • @carsonroadboy, Sullivan doesn’t like bad publicity so if the protests get larger in number he will have to be seen to do something, possibly make Baroness Brady a sacrificial lamb? The protesters realise it’s very important to keep the pressure on otherwise we will continue in the Groundhog Day scenario we are about to start again with NES.
  • We can always hope for our Groundhog Day to be the one where we won a trophy.
  • I didn't want him, but this current scenario gives me no pleasure. It's just all so depressing.
  • Sullivan doesn’t like bad publicity so if the protests get larger in number he will have to be seen to do something,

If that's the logic the petitioners etc are following, I think they are doomed to yet more disappointment.
  • Typically shambolic to let him do the painful pre-match press conference, get to the game weekend, then sack him.

Surely they knew after Palace they were going to do this?

Guessing they were waiting till they had the new manager 100% lined up.
I agree but it’s still shambolic and disrespectful
  • Chris Wood incoming……..
  • You may be right MrsG but doing nothing & settling for the current situation is worse?
  • Wonder how long Nunos contract is can't see it being until end of season so perhaps ,2 years plus rest of this one
  • Whoever it is will be our third manager this calendar year.
