I keep reading headllines about imminent transfers, but it's all just clickbait as far as I can judge. Please wake me up when something actually happens 😉😴
There's a good chance this means nothing, but I was just looking at the first team squad on the OS, and it includes Krisztian Hegyi, Kaelan Casey, George Earthy, Lewis Orford, Freddie Potts and Callum Marshall, none of whom have been included there in the past, and none of whom have aged out of the PL2 squad.
It also includes Antonio, who is no longer at West Ham.
Well, you say that, and of course it's true that his contract has expired, but all the reporting is that it's still undecided about whether he'll stay or not, and he's using the facilities still, so I don't think it's strictly true that he's no longer 'at' West Ham.
He’s not worth over £80m but I think we should be looking for around £65m. Double our money in two years. I’m sure Chelsea will come in too.
Last 2 seasons: £60.0m, Pedro (23) , 19G/9A, 4000mins £62.5m, Cunha (26), 27G/13A, 5000mins £65.0m, Mbuemo (25), 29G/13A, 5500mins £67.5m, Eze (27), 19G/12A, 4700mins
Kudus, 13G + 9A, 5100mins
I know G/A aren't the be all, but based on the above the going rate for talented attacking midfielders/Wingers this summer for non-big 6 teams is between £60m-£65m, think after the season he is we'd do well to get £60m
So were lining up El Hadji Malick Diouf to replace Emerson
We've been linked with 26yo Celta Vigo Spanish (4 caps) RB Oscar Mingueza to replace Coufal
Ipswich's England U21 LW Omari Hutchinson has been mentioned by various sources as a possible Kudus replacement
And there has been a fair amount of talk about Parma's 22yo Japanese GK Zion Suzuki (born in New York, dad is Ghanaian, mum is Japanese, grew up in Japan) coming in as our 2nd choice keeper
Those four would knock 43 years of the age of the squad!!!
I read that the keeper, if he comes, will be direct competition with Alphonse as our number 1. However there are strong doubts that he would want to come to a side that are so low in the PL. He nearly went to Man U in 2023 and they’re even lower than us.
There seems to be a theme, well there is if you want to make one 👍, that whilst other teams in the WSL are signing new players ours aren’t! Looks as if they have the same policy as the Men’s.
I don't think he'll be too fussy about which Premier League team he joins
He joined newly promoted Parma last summer and they finished 17th, 5pts above relegation
Before that he had a season on loan with Sint-Truidense in the Belgian top tier, finished 9th and before that he'd had 29 appearances for Urawa Reds, mostly in Cup games
Oddly Sint-Truidense had seven Japanese player last season, a bit like Wolves and Portuguese players
Give the new guy time Steve! Potter needs come in meet the guys and have a look at them in training to see who he wants to keep and who he wants to let go. I expect he will be having little one on one and group chats over the next week or so and devise a plan.
Joking aside, what matters is that we get it right this time not that we do it quickly.
£10 million short I think. Maybe there is an exchange player too in the deal.
He may have more raw talent but I don't see him as being a better player than Mbuemo and Pedro, hes clsoer to Elanga who's going for or £55mil...especially after the season he had

Fulham haven't signed anyone
