Next 7 Games (GW 32 - 38)

Remember, this IS NOT a prediction game. This is simply saying, from this batch of fixtures, what is the cut off point between good and bad. You could go one further and say what is the cut off between good, decent and bad if you want to, but basically you need to say the number that think is acceptable after this run of games.

So, our next 8 games are:
1. Brentford at Brentford Community Stadium
2. Burnley at London Stadium
3. Chelsea at Stamford Bridge
4. Arsenal at London Stadium
5. Norwich at Carrow Road
6. Man City at London Stadium
7. Brighton at the AmEx

I meant to post this last week but I forgot.

I think 10 points is about all I'd expect from this lot.

= 9 so double figures would be pretty good
  • we need 14 to get last seasons tally, so lets be positive :)
  • By my scientific, results-based analysis I get 21 points from these 7 games. So no worries.
  • Going by my last two attempts to see what might happen, I'm keeping it to myself hahaha
  • I think as low as 8 if we stay in the Europa and maybe 11 if we go out. It's a tough run in and we will need Spurs, United and Wolves to let points slip to get 6th. I realistically feel that 7th is as best we will get. Whilst I don't like the conference as a Euro cup I think it may offer an easier route into the following seasons Europa league than the Premiership next season. These Euro games have been fun so I will take 7th.
  • I think we’ve no chance of catching Arsenal or Spurs or possibly even Man U. Arsenal and Spurs hit their form when it mattered. 7th is our best hope I reckon.
  • 7th and win the europa :)

No chance of us catching Man Utd who are below us in the table?
  • I think they’ve got a better run in than us and will go above us.

I’m dreaming of 14 points from those last 7 games.
Man U are very catchable, Spurs and Arsenal have still got to play each other so who knows?
Still lots of fun/stress to be had.

Still can’t get used to looking at fixtures and not fretting about relegation, it’s very unsettling.😳
  • 15 Very Good 11 👍 Six Very Bad.
Sixth is still on even though we have CFC, AFC & MCFC still to play as MU have Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea to come whilst Wolves last 2 away games are at Chelsea & Liverpool, next up they are playing the wounded Geordies.

Maybe so, but that doesn’t really add up to “no chance” in my book
  • Just for those interested - remaining fixtures.

Spurs have by far the best run in whilst ours and Wolves are very similar indeed regard opposition and difficulty. Based on this I think Spurs are 5th, which means 6th onwards is between ourselves, United and Wolves. Both will benefit from not having European matches to play of course which may give them the edge.

Almost a straight shoot out with Wolves.

Both to play Burnley / Norwich / Brighton / City / Chelsea

They have Newcastle we have Brentford (same kind of position)

They have Liverpool we have Arsenal.
