Tore celebrated a major achievement when he helped Besiktas win the title last season scoring four goals and creating six assists in 24 appearances.

    It seems to me that negotiations for the deal have lasted longer than some Hollywood marriages.

    West Ham co-chairman David Gold did his own bit of breaking news on Twitter when announcing Tore's arrival this afternoon.

    Blimey how far have we come

    2006 we looked like we were on to the start of something FA Cup final and decent league position, then it all fell apart stumbling from one mess to another for nearly 6 years

    Now we're trying to get players that normally join CFC, PSG etc and hanging on to players in case Real or Barcelona come knocking as well as wondering if the likes of Tore and Bacca will do the business

    Funny enough I don't hear too many shouts for Sam Baldock or Nicky Maynard anymore

    Hopefully in 4 competitions next season ;thumbsup So there will be lots of games to be shared around. I dont believe Bilic has a number 1 first 11, but will make tweaks based on the opposition and scheduling. I'd love us to really target the cups this coming season, last year we did well, but now we are able to go on on all 4 fronts.
