It ceased to be any sort of competitive match once they went down to 9, but we could have done no more than take advantage as we did and it will have done our goal difference the world of good.
All in all a professional performance - not a normal game but we secured the points and kept them pinned down ensuring a clean sheet.
You can only play against those in front of you and we took advantage.
Truck to think about man of the match, no one player dominated and the game was pretty closed as a spectacle- I think I lean towards Pablo as he was involved in nearly everything despite everything
Three massive matches up next and I think after these three we will know the task ahead. I have felt we have been the best team in each match we played with possible exception of Millwall, not that we have always been great, just that no side played better than we did. Swansea, Southampton and WBA up next!
Tonight, Jarrod Bowen drew level with Carlton Cole in West Ham appearances - 293 - making the pair tied 41st for appearances.
And, with his brace, Tomas Soucek scored his 48th and 49th West Ham goals, meaning he is now our tied 37th record goalscorerer - joint with Billy Dare and Vic Keeble. Next in his sights will be Tommy Yews and Paolo Di Canio, tied with 51 each.
Even without Reeco Hackett I think that was a fine illustration of the difference between a side that played in the Premier League last season and a side that played in League One
Lincoln have now lost three in a row, their next three are M…… away, Burnley at home and Birmingham away
Refreshing to hear the Lincoln joint manager say the two red cards were definitely red and he had no issues with them. Not heard that from a manager, especially in the Prem, for a long long time.
Very refreshing. The guy who was sent off first seemed to be from the eighties!
It had all the hallmark of an eighties tackle in which the lesser side tries to rough up the better side early and unsettle them. Vinnie Jones would have been proud of that back in the day. This guy seemed to forget that things have moved on however and it gets you a red in 2026. I am just pleased the ref was strong enough to not duck out as it was so early.
I think we will have a good few more of those matches during the season, Millwall did it properly but this guy last night just gave the match away.
When you look at the control and general football ability of Potts, Orford and Earthy you wonder how it's Kante who is securing his place from our academy. Yet other times it makes perfect sense. This season is perfect for Kante and I hope it brings him on as he could be a real asset once polished.

Let's be honest, our ground would be almost empty .
Not sure we learnt much though
But let’s take it and move on.
Swansea, Saturday.
COYI
Then it was just when we got the first goal
Strange game

As two are at home I want 7 points at least.
