  • Arsenal losing the league from here would be almost as funny as Spurs getting relegated
  • Arsenal not winning anything this season would be funnier than Leeds 1972-73

    Almost…..
  • Spuds penalty overturned and Villa score
  • villa 1 up
  • The Spurs game has looked quite even so far, I’m worried they might nick this
  • Forest level
  • Spurs and Forest both level at half time.
  • I think we’d happily take these results now if we could
  • 0-0 at HT at Sunderland and whilst it remains that, there is always the chance that Spurs could take advantage.

That being said, imo, Sunderland have been the better side and created the better chances but we know that is often not necessarily enough.

All three Spurs centre backs are on yellows so they will have to be a bit careful in the second half, that just might make a difference
  • Let's hope Romero keeps being a numpty and gets a second yellow
  • Let's hope Romero keeps being a numpty and gets a second yellow

He does seem desperate to get sent off
  • Sunderland score
  • And Sunderland get the rub of the green with a massive deflection 😂😂😂😂😂
  • You’ve got to feel for Spurs.

    Oh wait, no you don’t.
  • 11 minutes extra time in the spuds game.
  • Not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing that Palace beat Newcastle, effectively safe on 42 points now. With their ECL tie against Fiorentina before playing us. Maybe they start to look solely towards ECL with no backdoor chances of going down now and Europa league qualification looking ropey at best.
  • Hoping that Palace are knackered for our game with them.
  • Sunderland is a beautiful part of the country
  • Spurs lose. Great result for us.
  • Get in, Spurs lose, and a point for Forest, I'll take that.
  • De Zerbi sacked in the morning.
  • Okay, now onto supporting Chelsea.
I have never been so invested in other teams 🤣
  • Comment taken from the spurs forum “the new manager collapse, a Spurs invention” with a couple of suitable edits 😂
  • Spurs are the architects of their own downfall as they really showed little fight, especially after the goal however, imo, they may feel aggrieved at some decisions that did not go their way

There was one in particular that puzzled me. With the overturned penalty, VAR confirmed that the defender got the ball first and had the last touch and thus the penalty decision was correctly overturned but the restart was a drop ball and not a corner……

VAR can't award corners. It's only able to give either a penalty or a drop ball in that situation
  • So MIA do you want Arsenal to win the league then?
  • Thanks for that as I had not realized that, not sure that I agree that it makes any sense though.

I get that VAR should not used to determine every corner or throw in decision but when it is being used correctly to determine a penalty or red card etc….then it makes sense to me that whatever is exposed as the correct result should be the path that is followed.

But what do I know 😊

You've just gone and used that 'sense' word. There's little hope for you I'm afraid. 😬
