  • Wasn't expecting anything from this game, but this sucks.
  • They did it Wednesday against Napoli and we’ve gifted it to them tonight by trying to hold the lead. When a team is that much better you can’t afford to do that.
  • When are we going to learn that dropping deep to defend a lead is NOT a smart strategy….it just encourages your opponent, gives them the momentum and puts pressure upon you

Before the game I expected nothing.

Mid game I was delighted but disbelieving.

End, disappointed but probably what I expected before KO.

    So, you know ..
.Gives us hope for the rest of the season.
  • And now nonsense.
  • Todibo gonna get a red and will obviously miss games.
  • Pretty poor to have lost this, they were so dreadful and we've let them come all the way back

Not sure it’s pretty poor. They are clearly the better team.
  • Todibo could get red.
  • Like my dreams they fade and...........
  • We could have 2 players sent off now.
  • Bad to worse
  • It'll be red.
  • So we lose the match after leading 2-0, and lose a player for 3 matches is it?
  • Being a West Ham fan is not for the faint-hearted.
  • Could be more as it was for violent conduct. Good job we bought all those CB’s.
  • Well Traore has made an instant impact on our fortunes that's for sure.

    Unbelievable
  • Sickening, after the great first half. Our leaky defence let us down again. In the second half we got overwhelmed in midfield. A farcical end to the game with Todibo getting sent-off. Need a new centre-back.
  • I guess the good news is we have 2 days to get in another centre back or we’re going to have to play Kilman.

No, violent conduct is 3 games.
  • No words, I’ve got no words.

Pretty poor is an understatement. We let the better team play in the second half & paid the price. Definitely need another Centre Half now & a change of tactics if we are lucky to be 2 up again.

Such a disaster after the 1st half… Todibo simply lost it, just like the team…
A point would have been great, but we just aren’t good enough…especially against their better 11…
A sickner…and now Todibo out for utter losing his cool…
Chelsea fans in dreamland, Hammers fans gonna have nightmares tonight …,
  • Why did Todibo have to poke his nose in.
  • Probably a few red cards should have happened there at the end.

We played well for the first half, a bit like the Sunderland game though, second half let them back in but Chelsea converted their chances. We're going down fighting at least. Defence is far too brittle for this league unfortunately.
  • I mean to lose that second half 3-0 after the position we were in at half time is pretty shocking

Unfortunately we just aren't good enough, two wins in a blue moon won’t change the fact we’re down
  • Tobido brought that onto himself and has to rightly answer for his actions but for me, none of that would have happened if Traore had not lost the plot before hand….completely irresponsible….
  • Leeds fans all over the various chats thanking Chelsea for keeping them in the PL.
lots of hammers fans slamming Nuno for this persistent second half tactics whenever we are leading.
  • I can’t understand the idiot Nuno

We can’t defend; he knows it, we know it, everybody knows it

Yet he keeps persisting with defensive subs; Pablo off, Kilman on, 2-2 2 mins later

    1 clean sheet all season

It’s going to send us down
  • I don't mean to excuse Tobidos lack of discipline but Traore caused the whole ruckus over nothing. He got here yesterday was on the pitch ten minutes and then took offence to the Chelsea player doing his job and shielding the ball out.

In normal life if I see a guy built like that acting like that I immediately think it's roid rage, obviously not with him but it was so unnecessary. If i were a manager I would steer clear of Traore just at the sight of his physique. If the whole professional football world indicates that amount of muscle is not helpful then a player who insists upon it clearly has an issue. However good at football he may be now he would be better for losing a stone of muscle, which would still leave him big. Antonio was big, built and strong but this guy is body building to get like that, and it slows and removes agility.

Great first half against a caraboo Chelsea side but no match for the first eleven. we did deserve a draw for that first half effort and it will be hard to pick our self up and cope without Todibo.
