West Ham Vs Spurs - Saturday 5.30pm (Sky Sports)
We now get back to some proper football after the international break, and what a game to re-start with! I was dreading this match after our first two performances but now we can go in with a little hope. It would be foolish to think we have turned a corner in one match but it has supplied a cause for hope for the fans and hopefully confidence for the team.
I hope Potter will stick with his four at the back and will be amazed should he not. Although there will be a clamouring for Summerville to start I can see him joining from the bench once again, but I am thinking he may be the signing we wanted. As for Spurs they would have had their confidence in their new era knocked somewhat due to being beaten at home by Bournemouth and I will be very happy if we can inflict a second defeat on them.
Heart 2-0
Head 1-1

We lost away at newly promoted to Sunderland, they beat Burnley at home,
We lost at home to Sky Six Chelsea, they beat City away,
We had a surprise win at Forest, they had a shock loss at home to Bournemouth
Apart from a new manager and a new chairman not much has changed at Spurs since we last met in May although back then they put out the B ream as they were in the middle of playing Europa League semis
Frank has been consistent with his line up, nine players have started all three matches so far with two more starting the last two
The only new arrivals to start have been Kudus and DM Joao Palhinha, returning to the Premier League on loan after just one season with Bayern Munich and possibly the best EPL deal of the summer
Palhinha is arguably one of the best ball winning midfielders in Europe although while he was at Fulham he did collect the most Premier League yellow cards two seasons in a row. In the first three matches he's avoided getting booked and even scored against City thanks to an absolute ricket from James Trafford

Porro Romero Ven Spence
Bentacour Palhinha Sarr
Kudus Richarlson Johnson
22yo Dutch AM Xavi Simons (£52m RB Leipzig) joined just before the window closed but missed the Bournemouth match while they sorted out his work permit.
The only other new arrival to play any part so far is 26yo Austrian CB Kevin Danso who has had some minutes off the bench.
Frank hasn't given his presser yet but from last reports Maddison, Kulusevski, Bissouma and new arrival Japanese CB Kota Taka are all injured.
Dragusin has returned to first team training after recovering from an ACL suffered in February while Solanke could be available after missing the Bournemouth match with an ankle
Spurs got a bit of a boost when Romero came home early from international duty with Argentina after picking up a yellow card on Friday and being banned from Wednesday's match against Ecuador
Our last three home games against Spurs have been 1-1 draws
Sadly I will not be watching this match from my usual stool at the bar of the William the Fourth where I have followed West Ham for the last 20 years. Over the summer the Willy was taken over by new owners and like so many pubs in the area it's been yuppified with craft beer at £6 a pint, no cash and worse, no football in the big front bar.
Instead I'll be joining other William refugees down the road in the Prince of Wales. Wish us luck

Solanke is "not too far away but he’s just fallen short for this week".
French CF Randal Kolo Muani, signed on loan from PSG deadline day, hasn't had much of a pre-season and hasn't played since the Club World Cup Round of 16
Kudus, Brennan and Richarlson combined for 9 shots, 3 goals and 2 assists against Burnley, 5 shots, a goal and an assist against City, 0 shots against Bournemouth
