    Lots of the ball in the 2nd half, but in reality only Soucek’s missed chance and Fulkrug’s header we hardly bothered their keeper, lots of huff and puff with little else.
    A disappointing night..

    Might have had a handful of chances but only one attempt on target. It doesn’t seem to matter how long we have between games we always seem to play as if we’re playing every day.
    Another game with the majority of possession but little done with it to enthuse.
    Wait to see the usual drivel spoken after the game.

    To me we look like the team we are, one still trying to find our way, we certainly looked better in the second half annd we could have, and probably should have rescued a point but unfortunately the only thing we learned is that we have not foued a formula that presents a credible alternative to the old guard

    @chicagohammer Do we need to change the old guard then, Mavropanos, Soucek, Cresswell etc? Is this the drivel you were expecting thorn? 😁

    No I meant the drivel spoken by Potter and the players about how hard they’re working but we didn’t play with intensity in the first half and thought we did enough to get something etc etc etc.

    Oh I see thorn. Yeah not convinced yet by GP, early days I know, & from what the so called experts have been saying it may take some time before many of us will be 😬.

    Usual stuff so far from Potter, Bowen and Kilman. We must do better, it took us a long time to get going, we are frustrated we let the game get away from us etc etc.
    How many times have we heard it all, it’s rinse and repeat after nearly every game.
