  • Doesn't Matterface do your head in? Stat after stat after stat, most of which are irrelevant to the game.

Antonio started and played 83 minutes in Jamaica's goalless draw at home to Honduras; I'd much rather he played the previous match and sat this one out, but c'est la vie. He always struggles in matches after an International break, so I hope J-Lo bears that in mind when he selects the team for Spurs on Saturday.

Coufal and Soucek both played 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Ukraine last night.

Areola was an unused sub as France won 2-1 in Belgium.

Mavropanos played 90 minutes on Sunday evening as Greece beat the Republic of Ireland.

Kudus played all 90 minutes this afternoon in Ghana's 2-0 defeat in the Sudan.

Alvarez played the full 90 minutes against USA this morning (Mexico won 2-0)

I just read that Rodriguez was left out of the Argentina squad for this international break
  • I know somewhere people had been discussing most recent call ups, but it's not in any sensible place...

    So I'll add this here.

Bowen one of the players called up late to replace injured players.
  • Watkins starts ahead of Kane. Midfield of Gallagher and Jones looks vulnerable. Bowen on the bench.

Pickford, Walker, Konsa, Guehi, Lewis, Jones, Gallagher, Bellingham, Madueke, Gordon, Watkins
  • A big game tonight for those, like me, who rather like the challenge of the Nations League. If we fail to win the group, Tuchel could have a competitive promotion play-off very early in his tenure, which could be interesting.
  • Bowen on for the last 25 mins, England still leading 1-0 after an early goal from Watkins.
  • England win 3-0 to leave themselves in control of the group; a win against Ireland on Sunday and we top the group.
  • Antonio was supposedly called up for Jamaica's two-legged tie with USA; from the OS

"Following his visit to Ghana, Antonio will link up with the Jamaica national team squad for two crucial CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final clashes against the USA, with the first leg set to kick off in Kingston at 1am GMT on Friday 15 November."

However, he wasn't in the matchday squad at all as USA won 1-0.
  • Meanwhile Paqueta came on in the 68th minute in Brazil's 1-1 draw away to Venezeula. Mavropanos played 90 minutes in Greece's 3-0 loss to England, Czechia play tomorrow and Tuesday, Ghana play must win games away to Angola this evening and at home to Niger on Monday if they are to maintain a chance of qualifying for the next AFCON (late 2025/early 2026).
  • The only Jamaican call up that matters 😜

  • Don't think he was in the matchday squad either.
  • Antonio was called up but not in the matchday squad either

Jamaica lost 1-0 at home, second leg 1am Tuesday in St. Louis

I'd already said that 😊. Apparently he might have been suspended, which would obviously explain it. Unfortunately means he's likely to play Monday evening (local time).

  • It must be so frustrating for a manager to every few weeks have your players spread across the globe to play different systems with different players and then come back and get on with the day job.

My apologies, thought you meant Ravel. Just read your earlier post

Antonio was suspended, picked up a second yellow in the game against Honduras

Obviously the good news is that we don’t play until Monday evening so our players get longer to recover from the jet lag
  • Bowen comes on as a sub and scores 30 seconds later. 4-0
  • It's a rout.
  • I bet Scales will be hiding when they get to the dressing room. They went to pieces as soon as he went.
  • You mean his red tipped the balance?
  • It's was a sweet goal from Bowen too!
  • From the Daily Mail

West Ham star Michail Antonio misses Jamaica's clash with the USA after losing his PASSPORT, reveals boss Steve McClaren

Jamaica boss Steve McClaren confirmed that Antonio and Kaheim Dixon will be unable to travel to the country after losing their passports. The Jamaican federation reportedly scrambled to get visas for the two players, but were told that it was too late.

'Antonio and Dixon lost passports, it was too late to get new ones and to get visas to come over here, so they are missing,' the former Manchester Unitedassistant told reporters on Sunday.

  • Knowing our luck he'll probably not be allowed back into the UK; as bad as he has been this season, at least he's got 2 legs.
  • Antonio .Just got to love the guy
  • Do we have to 😵‍💫

So how did he get to Ghana?
