    Yeah, but that's yesterday's game, I can't remember the word now but I'm pretty sure "adieu" was consistent with the 3 yellows, still amazingly lucky (or inspired) to get that word in 2 though.

    Adieu is indeed correct. Also, given that the 3 letters were correct but in the wrong place (especially the vowels) narrowed the options, and yes, it was a lucky guess. =)
    My first thoughts were a toss up between DEVIL, DEBIT and DENIM so luckily I went alphabetically.

    Diode and dirge were other "D"s, and then there's fiend, fetid, field, yield, wield, tepid, ridge, midge, medic, and of course oldie to name a few more off the top of my head.
