Overall, that was a pretty dour affair with little urgency being shown by either side, Haller should have scored but one positive is that Roberto has done ok
That was a 1st half of very little, Haller had a very good chance to score but didn't, other than that very little to mention, cannot say 1 player has impressed, apart from perhaps Rice, the rest very bang average IMO in the 1st half...
I've been really frustrated with Fredericks and Anderson. They get the ball on the touchline, but always (bar once) play it back inside. Last season's Anderson would be taking his full-back on. It's Joel Ward, for crying out loud.
Pretty equal stuff so far. 4 shots each. 2 shots on target each.
Neither team wanting to go all gung ho and leave space for the nippy players behind. Staying tight. But need to move the ball a bit quicker. Declan and Yarmo with a couple of mistakes, but also done some good stuff. All need to just find an extra 10%.
I'd almost be tempted to play Fredericks as a winger. I'm assuming he doesn't want to bomb on for fear of leaving a gap behind him.
Maybe Zaba at right back, Yarmo on the left and Anderson in the middle for Lanzini. At least then Fredericks could try to take on his man and get the ball in. Reckon Haller has the beating of the CBs in the box, so we need to get the ball into him.
More to the point, when we've clearly played a training-ground set-piece with Haller heading it back across goal, why was nobody in the six yard box to head it in?

This has been pretty uninspiring again.

Tempo is too slow
Think we need to be a bit more direct
Anderson needs to offer more
We (team and fans) need to be patient, although we (the team) could do with moving the ball a bit more quickly.

We’re going out for dinner earlier than planned. Once again, I’ll take the credit for goals.
This is draining.
