Watching the Preston v Stoke game, my girlfriend and I got talking about shirt sponsorship. She asked me how many sponsors West Ham have had. I remembered most (forgot all about Jobserve) but had to Google to make sure, and this image came up:



I realised that when I looked at the kits, I made an immediate connection with certain players. For example, I will always think of Tony Cottee when I see the 1986 kit. Seeing that Preston v Stoke is awful, I've listed my immediate connections below. If like me you have nothing better to do with your time, why not have a go. Would be interested to see other people's results; no thinking about it too much, just a glance at each kit and which (if any) player first springs to mind.
