04/04/2017 Arsenal v West Ham
08/04/2017 West Ham v Swansea

What do you feel is the minimum points we need to get to make you think 'fair enough'?

I'd be disappointed if we take less than 12.

Remember, this isn't a prediction thread, or even a 'what you think we might get' thread. Looking at those games, for example, I could easily see us getting over 12, but anything less would be a disappointment.

The question is: what is the least number of points you feel would be acceptable at the end of these fixtures taking into account who we are playing?

    I would want 12 points. Anything less would be a disappointment.

    For me, there are 2 games I expect nothing from. I think there are 3 winnable home game and 3 winnable away games. On the basis of us being a mid table side, I would think it crazy to assume we should win all 6. A defeat, 2 draws and 3 wins from those six would be an acceptable return, IMO.

    I would like to think we could get more. But that's not the question on this thread.

    I think 18 points is possible, but I would be happy with 12.

    It's interesting looking back.

    Overall, to the Soton game, I'd said I would be happy with a total of 33 points and we have 31. So the team, for me, is not far short of the least I was hoping for/expecting.

    Factoring in that most of those lesser sides are fighting for their lives, makes it hard to pin point the least I would be happy with.

    I think WBA, Watford and Bournemouth are the games I would expect the majority of our return.

    5 points minimum I would be happy with from that.

    Leicester, Hull and Swansea. Maybe another 4 points minimum expectation?

    So 9? ;hmm

    Giving us 40 points from 32 games?

    Not sure. Obviously I'd want more? Would I really be content with 9 from these 8 games? ;hmm

    14 is a distinct possibility but I'd take the 9 to get us to 40 & safety.

    I basically agree with the approach taken by Alderz, so I would be content with 11.

    The fact that it would take us to 42 points with six games still to play factors into my satisfaction index.

    We had a great season last year, this one a little bit nervy at the start but I am happy that it seems like we have steadied the ship and should be able to progress from here.

    Based on the fact that we are now gaining some momentum, I think 13 points for those games would keep me joyous. Less than 12 would be disappointing.

    I expect 14, would be really happy with 16 and disappointed with 12.
