  • Junior Stanislas is injured so at least the chance of an ex-player scoring is reduced.
  • Just Defoe to worry about then...

    It’s mstch day ;nolan

    Today, I think we’ll see:

    Fabianski
    Fredericks - Balbuena - Ogbonna - Cresswell
    Noble - Wilshere
    Yarmolenko - Arnautovic - Anderson
    Hernandez
  • Ex says 3 changes, with one player who started last week dropping out of the squad completely. ;hmm
  • Antonio because I don’t think he’s fit yet
  • Rice reportedly not in Squad.
  • ;nonono

    Hope Cressa plays.

coyi I shall be elsewhere all day. I hope to come home to a glorious win and read all the match reports before bed. ;pray
  • ;hmm Is this a must win game ;pray
  • It's not a must win game in regards to whether we get relegated but it is a must win game if we want to be aiming for a top ten finish.
  • Zab and Chicharito start according to whufc_bulletin.

Not sure if that is Zab for Fredericks or Zab in a holding role.
  • On my way to the game ;wahoo
  • If Rice not being in the squad is true maybe we’ll see Zab as a DMF ;hmm
  • Didn't we buy one of those the other week? ;whistle
  • No but I brought run dmc
  • You can never have enough DMFs...apparently ;wink

Time I left to see some of ours.
  • So little pea gets a start I need a hat trick from him or its back on the bench for you my son ;whistle ;whistle ;whistle
  • So given the recent posts it sounds like this could be team, which is OK. But I fear that Snodgrass may play more centrally with Arnie out wide, which is a shame as I would love to see us pay with 2 out and out strikers. Any kind of victory will do, so I predict a squeaky bum 1-0.

    Fabianski
    Zabaleta Balbuena Ogbonna Masuaku
    Snodgrass Noble Wilshere Anderson
    Arnautovic Hernandez
  • Rice, Antonio, Fredericks all out the squad!!! Jeez.
  • To be fair Snodderz will cover Zab very well.
  • Pretty brutal, IMO. We were poor as a team on Sunday and those three have paid the price by the looks of it.
  • I’m glad he’s dropped Antonio but it’s harsh on Rice.

Zero pace down that flank though.

From Fredericks and Antonio to Zaba and Snodgrass ;puzzled
  • Pace isn't everything, what we need is some decent service for Arnie and Hernandez.

Plus Snodders scored a few free kicks last season at Villa.
  • Tempted to switch to an Arabic stream to spare myself Galey's gormless inanities.

Not bad enough that we have to hear it once, when he finds what he feels is a juicy bone, he repeats and repeats it.

And it never gets less stupid.
  • Gosling walking a tightrope, surely in the book for his next foul.
  • Yep, Gosling deservedly in the book as he brings Wilshere down again.

Galey really annoys me as well grey, considering he played for us he always seems ultra critical of us, hardly sympathetic at all as you might expect from an ex-player.
  • Corner, taken short by Snodgrass, nothing much comes of it till it falls for Masuaku who drives to the line but the cut back goes nowhere, eventually another corner but still no decent effort on goal despite the pressure.
