  • Couldn't care less about reading

We should want our loanees to be playing if they get sent to lower league teams. Failing that stay at West Ham and play in the development games?
  • The plus side he is being coached by one of the best CB of the last 20 years.

That's got to help his development.
  • West Ham United will swoop for 19-year-old French defender Fode Ballo-Toure in the summer, when the Paris Saint-Germain youngster will likely be available on a free transfer. (Madein Foot)
  • Ballo ballo ballo ballo ballo ballo

    Toure

  • West Ham are preparing to allow summer signing Arthur Masuaku, 23, to leave and are ready to take a big loss on the £6m they paid Olympiakos for the defender. (Squawka)

  • Don't believe that ;ok
  • Leicester, Everton and West Ham sent scouts to watch Ludogorets winger Jonathan Cafu, 25, in the Europa League this week.(Mail)

In other transfer thoughts i quite like Arthur. I think we will regret not signing celtics Dembele.

  • I hadn't noticed that Scott Hogan went to Villa in January, but he got stretched off yesterday and is now possibly out for the season

Did we ever have a chance to sign him?

We were rumoured to be considering a £20m bit for him, and Celtic wanted £40m. So, no. Not in January anyway.

We probably had a chance last summer when he left Fulham on a free (though it wouldn't have been free for us as there would be a tribunal) but I don't think he was anyone's radar as he hadn't exactly set the world alight with Fulham (19 goals in 64 games).
  • Offering less than half the ticketed price is more than a chance for our owners ;wahoo
  • West Ham are targeting Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose, 25, who has scored nine goals in 20 La Liga appearances this season. (Calciomercato - in Italian)

  • West Ham plan to increase their offer for Saint-Etienne defender Kevin Malcuit to £10m after having two bids for him rejected in January. (Sun)
  • West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang, 24, is a target for Liverpool, with the Spaniard impressing Reds boss Jurgen Klopp this season. (Sun)

  • 80 million + Coutinho, Clyne and Can
  • + Mane, Sane and Kane - yes, I just wanted to write their names together ;whistle
  • I'd like to see us make a move for 1989 Marco van Basten.

Hop in! Let's go, go, go!

  • We dont have enough road to get up to 88!
  • We'll detour round the Large Hadron Collider!
  • Fully understand those concerned about Carroll's (injury) reliability, but I hope this is not true. A fit AC is unplayable.
  • It'll probably turn out that Carroll was sold Chow Mein at his local Chinese whilst injured
  • STH Really got themselves a good poacher in Jan.

    Proper in the box striker...
  • Looks like it Vorse - be interesting next season ... will he be 'found out', looks promising though.
  • I'd just like us to be in a position where we can find someone who can hit the ground running like that - our striker signings though get found out for very different reasons.

This is Southampton we are talking about. It's not a case of when he'll be found out, but rather "when will he be sold"
  • Gabbiadini certainly looks good at the minute, but his record in the past seems to indicate this is a purple patch of form. I'll be interested to see how he does going forward.

I also wonder what this means for Charlie Austin? I'd have him here in a heartbeat personally.

Gabbiadini reminds me of Berbatov. Good positioning can turn well, not the fastest but makes up for it in other ways.
  • I've never seen a ball stick to the feet of a footballer quite like it did with Berbatov.
