  Maybe after his MOTM performance against Domzale, Kouyate has become the player we most cannot afford to get injured in a pre-season friendly. I guess Slav knows what Obiang can do and he has had quite some minutes, so thought this was the last chance to give the kids a go.
  
  I'm just disappointed to see him persisting with Byram at left-back and Antonio at right-back... But as long as the reasoning is that Page is not good enough to play 1st XI football yet and Byram and Antonio are, so need match time, but Byram will switch to RB and Antonio further up the pitch when we get new full-backs in, it's OK.

  You'd like to hope if Slav is happy to play Brian at LB, then when an LB arrives he'll trust him at RB.

  My view is that the badge looks pretty cool in any of the two-colour schemes we have it in on our training range etc. It's just the full colour version that looks rather cartoonish. Looks great in black and white too, for example. Nice touch that they have put TIW on the hammers too - hadn't noticed that until I saw it very big at the stadium.
