  • Today was Forest’s first win in 8 and Spurs haven’t won in the league this calendar year. Bizarrely they got late draws against City and Liverpool or they would now be below us.
I agree we now have some winnable games to come but all games are winnable and that’s what we find difficult. We probably need to win at least 3 if not 4 of our last 6 (Arsenal is probably gone) and we rarely put a run of 2 together so a scary time to come.

Just got to focus on our own results, today the result and performance were not great by any means....Still 7 games to play, we need Summerville back, and IMO I would not risk him in the Cup, I know others would disagree, but as said before the cup I couldn't care a less about, it's all about PL survival for me.....
Not worth doing a MOM today, Mavro by a mile.....

Yeah the performance worried me, not the loss

We didn’t seem hungry enough to get anything

I watched more of the Spurs game than ours. If you think our performance was worrying…
  • When there were 11 games to go the super computer, for what it’s worth, predicted we’d win 4, draw 4 and lose 3. My guess is the three losses would be Liverpool, City and Arsenal. We got a point against City and that probably countered a predicted draw at Villa so still on target for the predicted 16 points from 11 games.
I’m sure the computer will change its predictions for our final 7 games especially if it saw today.
  • @Jorderz, I did watch the whole of our game. We weren't on it for large parts of the it & yes I did have hope that due to our position in the league we would play in a more positive way and with a greater tempo. No I don't expect us to go unbeaten until the end of the season, we need to try to win games, and I had hoped we could draw today.
  • 1 win in 6 league games, it’s not keeping us up
  • Our next four matches are all winnable, of course we wont win them all but there are definitely points to be had, the key will be Summerville being available. He represents the goals we will need. I just hope Spurs stick with Tudor as he may be as central to our hopes of staying up as Summerville.
  • Tbh, I've just accepted we're going down.
A bonus is that I've stopped getting stressed and being grumpy with my wife who btw has got all the gardening work for the summer and autumn already sorted out. =)
  • A win away at Villa was never likely.
Just had to look at the respective benchs to see that. They had a wealth of riches compared to us.

It is if Spurs continue to lose every week

Look at it from a Spurs perspective. One win in 14! Over the same time period we won 4 and also got a fair number of draws. The form table has Spurs rock bottom both across the past 6 and the past 10 games.

I know who I am backing.
