  • So only another ten more sets of fixtures to get stressed over 😬.

Hopefully only 8. By then Spurs will have been relegated 🤞
  • So we lost 5-2 which looks horrible, but we know that was not a true reflection of the game and we were AWAY at ANFIELD and we ended up holding our own against our principal rivals and did not lose ground.

    And Spurs look terrible

I am heading over to the positive arms for a half of shandy
  • See you there Chicago
  • Man Utd beat Palace so out of the bottom 8 the only team that didn’t lose was Wolves
  • Raya punches Jaoa Pedro after punching ball from Chelsea corner. Nothing given.
Areola's punch in similar circumstances on the other hand results in a penalty.
    Consistency eh.
  • Great results today!!

With ten matches to go were all things equal regard points I would be very confident of us staying up but I am just not sure we can give Spurs a four point head start. Fulham will be really tough in the week but If we can get three points then it really would change things.

How stupid is Neto, already on a yellow, matching Martinelli down the line, and he lunges in and takes him out for the easiest yellow of the season.
  • candbsky, So do you think Forest are safe then?

Caught him with his hands but didn't punch him imo.

No I don't but was writing after reading the comment about Spurs being the worst team in the league at present, so was more focussed on them. The Spurs and Forest match on the 22nd may decide who we have most chance of catching. I do think we are currently the best of the three teams but the head start gets more difficult with each game we fail to draw it back.
  • Hadn’t realised Spurs haven’t won a league game this year.
  • They do seem to be getting players back ,Lets just hope the rot has set in
  • It's a small joy in a nervous time to read the Spurs forum. They are a superstitious lot as many feel the new stadium is cursed and then there is the pseudo science group who are criticising the retractable pitch for all of their injuries.

In truth it's been about management hiring. We got it wrong with Lopetgue and Potter but now have it right, Forest fell out with their manager (Nuno) and then got it wrong with Poste and then I suspect got it right with Dyche but panicked. Spurs got it wrong with Frank and have rolled the dice again with a risky appointment.

Caught him with his hands, punched - both times the player was struck in the face.
  • It's a contact sport. Punching is a violent action, touching isn't.
  • Imagine if Spurs went down and Arsenal won the league, the open top bus driver taking a detour down Tottenham high road. Imagine if we stayed up at their expense, I would forgive Lopetgui, Potter and anyone else and realise I had just witnessed the greatest evidence so far for the existence of god.
  • Purely because I feel we have an interest so am watching Everton vs Burnley - pretty uninspiring stuff from both teams, Everton leading which I suppose is favorable but frankly hard to tell if ether team really deserve to take the 3 points
  • Sunderland 1 up at Leeds

Sunderland have kept Leeds part of the relegation battle as three points tonight would have effectively seen them hard to catch, but if we win tomorrow we will only be three points behind them.

Sadly Leeds have the best run in of all of us.
  • Tomorrow is huge as we would be 3 behind with them to play on the last day, would just need to outperform them by 1 point in the other 8 games to finish above them - not to mention Spurs & Forest
  • Have watched Burnley these past couple of weeks and think they have played quite well and been a little unlucky - particularly against Brentford on Saturday, today however against Everton there was very little fight or invention and I was left with the impression that they may just have accepted their fate that their season could be over.
  • Omg - Wolves have taken the lead against Liverpool - they may have had a torrid season but you have to hand up to them - they are having some fun in the run in
  • Led for 5 mins before Salah ( voted least likely to score ever again by the Liverpool fans) equalises.

    It's livened up a bit.
  • Okay this is funny - wolves 2-1 and I laughed out really loud
  • Unfortunately we have to play Wolves next month.
  • Look at Everton's position in the League.

    Fair play to Moyes.
  • Imagine we go down and Millwall get promoted

Better still we stay up and they lose in the Play Offs.
