    History books will record 2-0 but that was a pretty comprehensive victory for Utd that was thoroughly deserved.

    Could easily have been four or more - hit the woodwork twice, three disallowed goals for offside, the only blemish on the day was that red card decision.

    How on earth do you try a Panenka in the last minute of a cup final to win the match. I despair over some footballers brains. 2-0 up wanting seal the deal in style it's still not advisable but understandable, in this situation you take the safest penalty you can.

    I hope Diouf will get back quick and be available for Saturday. If he needs a rest I would give him the following Saturday against Chelsea away, But Sunderland and the match against Burnley are matches we need win. Scarles has stepped in and acquitted himself well considering he is not quite first eleven in my view. Diouf and AWB are very good full backs.
