  • Does anyone know what Nuno has against Callum Marshall?

He’s been called up for N Ireland but can’t get on the bench and playing for the kids?

I seem to recall Nuno bringing him on ahead of Callum Wilson a couple of games ago.
  • Igor and KWP on for Paqueta and Summerville feels very negative
  • Got about 17 defenders on now
  • We are massive.
  • And it's 3.
  • It’s three!
  • Happy days
  • Big Tom 1 goal, 1 assist.

He got half an hour against Arsenal and Brentford, was on the bench for Leeds but hasn’t been seen since
  • Can we please stop giving away free kicks on the edge of our box.
  • Bowen very much off it today IMO.
  • I’m not sure what happened there but Areola fluffed one and it’s 3-2
  • A huge 3 points in a real 6 pointer.
  • Huge 3 points despite the Areola blunder (again)
  • Three welcome points in a game where were not as good as last week. But players showed resilience and desire. Another goal for supersub Soucek.
  • 3 points most important thing today and we got them....
Pity about Potts, but super sub Soucek proved his worth yet again....
  • Fantastic result in an edgy game with a lot on the line, not as convincing performance wise as last week but still a tremendous display of character to come back from behind.

Unfortunate for Areola in gifting their second but in fairness I think that 3-1 would have felt somewhat flattering.

Thought that Fernandes was immense and that Summerville looked threatening throughout, as mentioned by others, Bowen was just not with it today but we had enough about us to carry the day.

Will take the three points all day long

  • Just to be clear, West Ham United football club have underperformed for almost the entire season, and at the same time, DJ Hammer, Expat_Hammer AND Brother_Sledge have been absent? I don't want to jump to conclusions, but...

Well, the rest of you folks could always club together to buy three tickets for us good luck mongers =)

This is a sign of progress, that Bowen could have an off day but we still managed to get a result; it feels as though it's a long time since that happened.

Mmm, and how long can I stay away? See this is how addiction feels. You know you shouldn't, but.............
  • Summerville terrifies defender, but he hangs onto the ball for a little too long.
  • Having watched the highlights, it really is very poor from Areola for their second goal, there's no excuse for that imo.
  • It was an appalling piece of keeping, I assumed he had saved it into his path.
  • Seen a few keepers make a save, release the ball & fall onto it to waste time at the end of the game, like Areola tried to do yesterday.

But to be honest, two of our goals were also down to awful goalkeeping and even Manuel Neuer dropped a clanger yesterday. Perhaps yesterday was the international goalkeeping howler day.

There is so much recognition for Trev's 'deft' header but this was also a pivotal moment. Someone should send it to Areola.

    It's at 2.37m
  • I'm still waiting for that yellow card to be upgraded to a red for that foul by Willie Young on Paul Allen.

It won't now as Willie Young passed this week. RIP.
