Here are the next 8 games, so what would you be satisfied with?

18. Southampton (A)
19. Liverpool (H)
20. Man City (A)
21. Fulham (H)
22. Crystal Palace (H)
23. Aston Villa (A)
24. Chelsea (A)

For me it's 10 points.

10 from a possible 24 is only marginally better than a point per game, relegation battle zone. To be satisfied I think we need 13. The question above is what would you be satisfied with.

Whitehorse given that so far we’ve not fared well against teams above us and only 2 of those are currently below us 4 wins and a draw or 3 wins and 4 draws is very optimistic.
Even 10 involves us picking up points against teams we don’t normally do so.
I’d be satisfied with 10 and over the moon with 13.

Ten but I fear the worst and could easily see a new manager coming in as there are at least four games there that I expect us to lose.

Thorn, 10 we may reluctantly accept (on the basis it could have been worse) but to be satisfied 13 is where I set the bar.

I’d be disappointed to get only 10, but I think it is a realistic figure to expect, unless J-Lo manages to get a big improvement in our form. Mind you, a new striker in January might change the outlook too.

I would be satisfied with 10, hope for 12 and fear 8, which I imagine would find us very near the relegation places I fear. It's a really tough run of matches so we need be sure to pick up points from the out of form teams on that list like City.

Given we're currently 7 points clear 18th place, I think you're being a bit pessimistic if you think 8 points from these 8 games would "find us very near the relegation places".

When you look at that list of fixtures, I don't see many 'easy' fixtures, but I can't really ever look at a list of 8 fixtures and say that anything beneath 10 is acceptable, so I think it's 10 for me.

So we are on 8.

But if you'd been told at the start that we'd lose Antonio and Bowen, I think we might have settled for that.

So I'm not too disappointed, in the circumstances.
