Somehow, I had published the wrong fixtures for this week, but the results below would be the correct ones, only the home and away are mixed up

    Thanks Expat but I think you need de take one of my goals away. I originally loaded my results and then had a brain fade as it looked to me like I had only marked up one 'bonus' home game. I then re loaded with a second 'bonus' game. On looking at my results I find I have three 'bonus' games marked up.
    Two of these were correct scores with one unsuccessful but I'm certain the unsuccessful one was one of the original two, still with me? So I should have 1 goal removed.

    The home/away swap had a effect on a couple of games at least. 2 of Kuching's goals were in bonus games, if he'd been away rather than home he's have lost 3-2 rather than won 4-3, and one of Ironduke's goals was a bonus too, so he'd have lost 2-1 rather than drawn with Expat. That's without any extra "goals" the intended home teams might have scored.

    Not sure what the solution is though tbh, but it shows what a difference the home advantage can make.

    After the next round, which you're at home for, it doesn't matter; both home and away get 2 starred matches if I've understood things correctly. You must have saved a fortune in petrol though 😂🤣😂.

    After much investigation it appears that the incorrect fixture pattern was used, i.e. I had used the reverse fixture list, so now the correct results and table are shown below.

    This has given me something to look at over the summer months, to make sure that away teams with starred games are looked at by VAR - so probably get an answer for the 2028-29 season =)

    IronHerb, you did in fact score 6, as the program will only count the first two starred games selected and ignore any others. Your third starred game would not count as it was
    a) Incorrect
    b) Your third starred game
