Ah, my list is for the start of the 23/24 season rather than the end of the 22/23 season.
It's a rolling 5 season total so get a total for the start of the new season but as you accrue new points in the new season then the oldest, 5th, season drops off the schedule.
10-10-10-10-10 = 50 at start of new season.
Win first game (e.g. 2 points) it then becomes
10-10-10-10-2 = 42 building for the following season.
We will only have points for the last 2 seasons, so our total will be unaffected once the new season starts; some other teams will automatically lose their points for 5 seasons ago, so that explains why some clubs will be lower at the start of 23/24 than at the end of 22/23. In your example, we'll be (for instance) 0-0-0-25-25, so although we might end the last season with the same points as a 10-10-10-10-10 club, we'll be ahead of them as soon as the new season starts as they'll only have 40 points (plus any earned in the new season) whereas we'll have 50 points plus any we earn next season.
That's right but the seeding will be based on the last 5 seasons so Arsenal will be seeded on 76 points and we will be seeded on 50, in different competitions of course.
