**BREAKING NEWS!** Chelsea told to hand back all the trophies they’ve won in the last twenty years as they are deemed to be paid for from stolen money.
Someone I used to work with said once that real change only happens in the public sector when there’s a serious case review. Basically to mean that nothing will be properly fixed until it is properly proven to be broken. I hope that this whole thing with Abramovich is the serious break needed to really change the fit and proper persons test
The fans spent the game singing his name, now I would like the club to get hit badly
All the reports I've read describe it as "sections" of the Chelsea fans rather than all of the fans and every club including West Ham has its "sections" of muppets whose behaviour is an embarrassment or cause of shame to the rest
Chelsea cannot sell tickets for their cup tie at Boro on Saturday so have asked the FA to have the game played behind closed doors to maintain 'sporting integrity'.

You just couldn't make it up. 🤦♂️
I'm away at the moment and had read this post , without seeing the news and thought it was a joke. It's a disgusting request and I hope to God Chelsea get stuffed

Doesn't the current situation mean that no away fans will be allowed at Stamford Bridge for most of the rest of the season? So surely all those games should be behind closed doors then, according to Chelsea's logic?
Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson told the Athletic: "Chelsea and sporting integrity do not belong in the same sentence.
"Where is the intellect of Bruce Buck, the chairman of Chelsea, who has been an apologist for his owner, where the trophies won over 19 years have come from the corrupt money provided by Abramovich?" Gibson added.
"Where is the intellect of the chairman of Chelsea when it comes to playing his games at home in front of his season-ticket holders? Does he want to play all his away games at empty stadiums?
"Abramovich has been kicked out of football and Bruce Buck should be kicked out of football too."
According to the Guardian Chelsea asked if they could give 4000 tickets away for free to fill their 4620 allocation but have received no response from the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation
Obviously that wouldn't make such an attention grabbing headline...
What hurts is that Chelsea have paid for 4600 tickets and only sold 600.
That's an interesting one, because the government licence is meant to stop Abramovic from profiting, but if they've already paid for something then surely giving away for free or even selling at cost wouldn't allow them to profit?
The price of tickets doesn't matter, if Chelsea have paid Boro for 4620 tickets why shouldn't they be allowed to give away the 4000 they aren't allowed to sell? If Chelsea haven't paid Forest then the sanctions are hurting Boro which seems totally unfair.
Chelsea's point was that they are going to have just 5-600 away fans in a 34,742 capacity stadium.
Chelsea have returned 3,200 tickets which went on sale to Boro fans this morning so at least the seats won't be empty
I fee that they had the benefit of their association with Abramovic, no qualms... so now come the consequences. Which they should pay, as the price of their former decision.
My Chelsea mate is getting all sensitive. He can’t see that all those trophies were bought with dirty money. I do quite enjoy reminding him every now and then though.
I thought Carragher articulated the hypocrisy of Chelsea supports really well on MNF.
Lots of them are upset at pundits/fans saying things like Man Utd should go for Tuchel and other clubs should go for certain players, basically accusing everybody else of taking advantage of Chelsea's situation.
Carragher's excellent point was that Chelsea have been exploiting and taking advantage of other teams' for 20 years, signing up whatever players and managers they want, however they can.
Chelsea would have to fall a long way before I'd have any sympathy for them or their fans.
The fault is not with Chelsea, the fault is with the system that allows dodgy money to buy football clubs, not just in England but across the entire world.
The whole of football is corrupt from FIFA downwards so singling out Chelsea is utter hypocrisy.

This is a microscopic inconvenience to suffer for 20 years of buying trophies with dirty Russian money put forward by Putin's buddy.
They should own their choice.
