They would have met on a sacred hill somewhere and Bobby would have ceremoniously handed over his retired shirt number 6 and said go fourth Young Decaln and allow this shirt to live again for club and country.

I was at a Geoff Hurst talk last night and he was asked about Declan. He said that he had told Declan that he needs to get more goals and more involved in the box. He also believes he will leave if we don’t make Top 4. Rey much hope he’s wrong!

A good talk overall and I had to splash out for a red England shirt signed by Sir Geoff and Martin Peters - so all the World Cup Final goals in one place.
