Watching Citeh v Leicester, cracking game.
One thing that stands out that shows how we will never compete at this level with our current line-up, and that is pace all over the pitch.
We start by finding someone to replace Noble because it's he who sets the pace for the whole team.
A little like simple division, he's the lowest common denominator.

Worth keeping an eye on,,
What bothers me ,, he could Of been England’s main striker,, Even got England further in World Cup and so on
Furthermore, to believe he was 'swinging the lead' you would also have to believe that he could successfully deceive the various club doctors, independent doctors and surgeons over a period of 6 seasons. That he somehow 'faked' the results of the scans, MRIs, X-rays and so on.
And that he fooled all the players and managers.
Or that he didn't successfully deceive all these people but that they were all complicit in a huge conspiracy of silence to cover up his malingering.
Seems a tad unlikely, imo.
He's currently played four games in a row (missed the City game at the end of last month with a bruised rib) which is the longest he's been available this season.
"My last game at West Ham I played with a broken ankle," he insisted. "I'd been told it was fine even though I was in so much pain I thought, 'I just can't do this any more'.
"I had one operation and the screws came loose. Unheard of. The next one, the fracture opened again because the screws still weren't tight enough.
"So I went to a new surgeon. This time the screws were bigger but they realised the ankle ligaments were frayed on the outside. It hadn't been spotted for two years!
"I should have gone to Wickes and got a big bag of screws before those consultations! But my latest surgeon was excellent. He repaired everything. That's nine months now and no problems.
This might shed some light on part of the reason why he didn't get fully fit plus his socialising.

I'm sure he did.
"The big striker - like numerous players before him - also claimed that his rehabilitation from injury was often hampered by bad advice from the club's appointed medical staff"
Is this the common link then between all the injury problems we have - the club's appointed medical staff are incompetent? Who appointed them, did they get their qualifications from a dodgy internet "uni".?
MrsGrey, regardless of all the tests etc. you mention, if he/anyone pulled up during training and said that he/anyone felt a twinge, he/anyone would have been unlikely to be picked. I'm not saying this is the case and I wasn't accusing him/anyone of it.
Personally I liked him and was really happy when he signed for us because when he did play he gave his all. It's just a shame we didn't get to see his full potential, similar to Deano.
