We have now played 7, won 3, drawn 1 and lost 3. Scored 9 and conceded 10.

Certainly doesn't look like relegation material to me.

On my way back. Yes Bolton we're woeful and made no attempt to close us down but...That first half was one of the most enjoyable I've watched in a long, long time. Simply in terms of our movement, coming short to receive the ball as well as trying to get in behind the defence.

We rarely see that sort of movement from us normally.

Personally I think the problem was that we had some funky business going on with the threadmaking early on. It didn't get passed on after our first loss then we had separate people doing the cup and Newcastle games.

So has Arnie played his way into the first XI against Spurs? If so, at who's expense? I can't see any of Carroll, Hernandez or Antonio being dropped.

Nice decision for the manager to have.

But as for tonight, really pleased with that result. Yes, it was a poor Bolton side, but it's the kind of game we have a tendency to struggle in.
