    Yes, a good season. One league defeat to City, 97 points, cant complain. West Ham did ok after a defeat ridden start. Hoping for better next year ;)

    Just think, that if we hadn't had those perfectly good goals disallowed in the Man Utd and Leicester games we could be on 57 points. So 8th only due to goal difference from 7th.

    And had Liverpool's equaliser been rightfully disallowed we could have been a clear 7th.

    Frustrating that injuries and bad luck have again hampered our season, but more frustrating that our poor performances against the smaller teams have cost us a lot of points.

    Still, an excellent finish with 9 points from 9 and that win at Spurs gives us hope for next season.

    Whilst I get the sentiment, I donā€™t think you can point to having a goal disallowed in the first quarter of a game at 0-0 - cannot assume this would have resulted in a win or even a draw (although the timing of the Leicester decision definitely affected that result).

    If one is looking at what ifs, I would point to the fact that on too many occasions the team looked as though they had just met each other for the first time in the tunnel just before kick off.

    The Man Utd game had a goal disallowed and then a non-penalty awarded. I personally feel that if we are 2-0 up in that game, we go on to win it.

    Yep still donā€™t agree with that logic - if our goal had been allowed none of the subsequent events would have happened in that way. So any of the results would have been possible win/draw/lose. Although based on Man Utdā€™s showing today, maybe we could have gone on to put four or five past them.

    Most satisfying for me is we finally have an almost reliable back 5, and then with Rice shielding in front.If there are no injuries early on next season we could really challenge for top 6, I reckon. Maybe 1 striker and 1 wide attacking player are all we really need. 2019/2020 will be the year of the Hammers, indubitably.

    Challenging for the top six is very unlikely, IMO.

    I want top 10, positive goal difference, and three players with double figures for goals.
