  Seems he's a good influence on the youngsters as well. And sound advice for Oxford to, who may be a little frustrated after playing so well at the start of the season, and then getting very little game time until coming on against spuds.

  It can't hurt for him to see that it took Antonio until he was 25 to get a PL contract, and even then had to be patient for his chance in the team.

  It's been many years since I have seen the team hug each other so much and seem so happy together. This season has really changed the whole mood around the club.
  Slaven has done something this season I just never thought I would see happen .
  He has brought everyone together!!!

  One of the greatest things that Slav has brought to the club is a clear enjoyment in the players. The Likes of Payet, Antonio and Adrian never seem to be without a smile, add to this improvement in some hardened pro's such as Collins and Noble and he is clearly the best manager we have had since John Lyall in my opinion. I know one season does not make any player or indeed manager but he could barely have started better on all fronts, the players are playing better, he is demonstrating the ability to change matches through tactical changes, and the team spirit looks fantastic.

  They did a lot of hugging last season too - I recall that Nolan would always lead a group hug. That's where Markie Mark learned the importance of a cuddle now and then ;thumbsup
