Referees

Since the last referee could have cost us the match, i thought I'd share comments about re
fs for West Ham matches. A sort of warning...
I've been giving +2 down to -2, and averaged out the points per game reffed, and they fell into four groups...
The 12th man for them: England, Harrington,Banks Barrott Andy Madley, Jones.
The Reluctant to Give Us Anything: Smith Bramall, Oliver, Robinson Gillett, Attwell.
The OK Group: Salisbury Pawson Tierney Ksvanagh.
Finally, the Refs who have little Home Team or Big Six bias: Taylor Hooper, Kitchen
I think Buffybegood will have something to say about one name in particular 😁

Is this just for matches this season, or for a longer period? Where's Wednesday's ref, or have you got a minimum number of games for them to ref us for you to include them in your groupings?
  • Guess you won’t be overjoyed to know that Monday evening’s referee is Andy Madley 🤣😬⚒️
  • They're all poor for all teams so it doesn't really matter that much.

    Just one 😉🤣🤣🤣⚒️

Several years...e.g. Oliver has reffed WHU 28 times, so it's a reasonable sample. I thought putting Donohue in after one terrible game was a bit mean.😀 Maybe I should have added the number of games reffed...

Well none of them are perfect, but that's why I started doing this, to find out which ones are less perfect. (I'm retired, so have time to follow up these whims😉)
  • I'm not going to comment on every game btw! Madley certainly fell into the 'reluctant ' category imo. I think he only left Summerville on because he knew the pen decision was so soft. People have pointed out his other decisions, and I'm not interested in endless debate over each one.
