  • Oh Jimmy, how did you miss?
  • Where’s Adama when u need him 💪🏿
  • WOW talk about scraping through!
  • Just about through to the 5th round.
  • Well need a lay down after that
  • The streamer I was watching changed over to the cricket at 120 minutes. 😆
  • Easy peasy
  • I thought I was watching cricket for most of the match

We're through, but we do like to make it difficult for ourselves....

The yellow, then red for Potts, harsh, ref changed his mind after the antics of their players, not sure if we did try to get it rescinded it would be....

Anyhow, we're in the next round.....Great....
  • Looking forward to see what Lamadrid brings

    Not a lot

    Saved you some stress
  • It does feel a bit like a victory that may not serve us. We have Potts suspended and another match to play during our relegation survival fixtures. I just hope it's an easy fixture so we don't need play the big players once again as it's just not worth the risk at present.
  • Woke up to read the report BBC and the chat on here, does not look like I missed anything.

Obviously did not watch it but am pleased we got through but disappointed that Potts got a straight red, we need him on the bench.

Opinions appear to be divided on the decision but I would think it unlikely that an appeal would succeed.

It is interesting as on paper, that eleven should have been strong enough to take on a league one side but I think it shows the fine margins in today’s game, they have never played together as a team and when up against a team that has, and one that is motivated with nothing to lose, it is probably not a surprise that the game turned out to be a tighter and more nervy affair.

I think that Burnley found that out as well
  • Was more than happy if we did go out as long as we had no injuries - as it is we are through so happy to keep momentum going but we lose Potts for Bournemouth
  • Although I think it will be rescinded on appeal
  • I think it has to be. I know they like to back their referees but this would be wrong. He has decided a yellow on what he has seen and then goes on to revaluate after looking at the player on the floor, so has clearly allowed Burton players and the rolling around to change his decision. He is a weak referee.

From my recollection Potts goes across the player and takes his legs but not even his foot let alone studs make contact and are not turned upwards. It was a bad tackle but never a red.
  • Genuinely don’t know why any West Ham fans unpacked the game yesterday - we won, we rested players, no injuries - nothing else matters

Who cares if it was a slog or players didn’t impress, we won, move on - nobody cares about who played well or how we played - bobbly pitch, difficult atmosphere, move on
  • Are you suggesting we should just move on?

As I've been reminded of on a few occasions over the years this is a forum for members to discuss anything West Ham. 🤷‍♂️

I was talking about on social media - don’t think there is anything on here to fall into that category

I’ve seen people criticising & pulling apart the performance of individuals & team, I have been the first to moan this season but not sure that game is the one to pick
