I really don't want that stupid man to cut his hair because they beat us

Areola, Kilman, Walker-Peters, Scarles, Kanté, Magassa, Traoré, Pablo, Wilson
Carrick has only made one change to his starting line up since he took over, replacing the injured Dorgu with Cunha. They’re out of the Cup so very little reason to think he’s going to shuffle the pack.
Lammens
Dalot Maguire Martinez Shaw
Casemiro Mainoo
Amad Fernandes Cunha
Mbuemo
He doesn’t do a lot of substitutions either, averaging four per match, mostly after 75 minutes with three players, Sesko, Mazraoui and Ugarte, used three times, Cunha twice before he was added to the starting line up and five other players making single appearances.
Mason Mount could be back for this one after missing two games with “a bit of a knock” although it’s probably too early for de Ligt who has been out for two months with a back problem
There were no new signings in January. Bruno Fernandes continues to be the key player with a Premier League topping 12 assists while Mbuemo has scored three in the last four taking him to a total of 10 in all competitions.
A draw would be nice...
Well he can only do five a match so I would call that a lot of substitutions. 🤷♂️
What I was trying to say was that Carrick doesn’t make changes until late and when he does they’re fairly predictable. I think Ugarte has replaced Casemiro every time he’s come on, Mazraoui replaced Dalot or Shaw, Zirkzee on for Mbuemo, Cunha or Amad
Saturday was the first time he used all five subs, understandable with a game tomorrow
If he changes things early then maybe something’s wrong - or maybe we’re actually doing something right
Don’t blame me, as of yesterday I am officially old
Hopefully when he says some players he’s including Fab and Tobido.
In fact the only players I can’t pin down are Areola, KWP, Traore or Pablo, so maybe it’s those four who are the potentials?
Unless he’s having us on.
Any word on Areola? Playing young Hermanson is a gamble. Stick or twist?
Against Utd I would play Hermansen, he will get plenty of action and if he plays a blinder…it will build his confidence for the foreseeable future and he would become an established fixture.
The biggest word there is IF.
Burnley are bottom for shots per game and shots on target. We are 19th for shots allowed, only Burnley are worse
Man Utd are top for Shots per game and shots on target
Hermansen might be a bit busier tonight…
Nuff said. ⚒
Subs: Areola (GK), Walker-Peters, Scarles, Mayers, Kilman, Magassa, Kanté, Adama, Wilson
Only one change to the starting XI, as Wilson drops to the bench to allow Potts to start. Pablo is not in the squad, so was probably one of the injuries mentioned by Nuno in his presser.
Man Utd same as Saturday
We really could win this, I know we can win this, I believe we will win this.
