  • Is Bowen a slightly injured or something? He just doesn’t look right. AWB is more threatening these days.
  • AWB down after being kicked in the face; subject to him being able to continue, it seems as though Scarles and Pablo gonna come on for Diouf and Taty.
  • I’m not sure Bowen is as far off it as some are suggesting. He’s not on top form, but he’s had a good game IMO. He’s so industrious, and he is still always able to get a cross out or get a shot away.
  • Blatant foul by Walker on Summerville there
  • I like Pablo. He just seems to run around causing chaos and knocking people over.
  • Could be fair chunk injure time ,Not done yet

5 mins according to my comms.
  • If we don't concede in the next five minutes we should be ok!
  • KWP and Traore about to come on, for Summerville and Bowen.
  • Did it look like Bowen was limping a bit coming off?
  • 0-2 FT 😊😊😊
  • Hoorah.
A win and a clean sheet and all that.
  • Two clean sheets this season, two clean sheets for Hermansen
  • Great result - really pleased for everyone at the club - we have played really well these past few weeks and not always got what we deserved - (yes thinking of you Forest)

Given the debacle against Wolves who would have seen that we would win three out of the next four - and sooooo nearly get something out of the Chelsea game

Of course we are not out of the woods but we have given ourselves a chance and a couple of teams above us are looking over their shoulders- looking at you Spurs - oh yes that would be sweet

    COYI
  • Great result today but we can’t afford to let Utd have as many attempts as we did Burnley as they will take some of them.
  • It will be a real shame if we go down as we really have given it such a go. If we did it would be down to a few individual errors in big matches, and also I feel the missing of our full backs during that huge six point period in January, the six pointers have really put us where we are.

I feel we could very well pull it off if we keep playing like this as we have been scoring against each side we have played lately and that is the key. If we can stop conceding so easily as we were able to today we will have a chance.
  • Clean sheet, 2 really good goals, Disasi with a very comfortable debut performance....
a nice trip for our great away fans...
  • 4/5 more wins and we stay up, that’s the reality

    Possible
  • I think I really enjoyed not having Areola punching everything that was travelling over 10 mph, he has astonishing reflexes but a keeper that over punches will always create more pressure.
  • I know there are still a few scary moments, but Hermansen exudes way more calm & composure than Areola does

We have given it a go in the last few matches, but ultimately the first half of the season was abysmal and we are where we deserve to be.

I hope we can pull it off but I still feel we won't. Our best form of the season has left us still 3 points adrift. It's a shame Leeds and Palace aren't a little bit closer so they could be dragged into it properly too.
  • I tend to agree with your Jorderz.

If Nuno manages to pull this off it would be far bigger accomplishment than Moyes winning the Conference Cup in my view.

You’re a cup half empty man, we were in deep poo, poo, in 2007, I’m not sure if it was worse then than it is now but we did it. Have a look at the remaining fixtures, Leeds, Forest and ourselves. That is why I think we will pull it off.

  • I thought Disasi and Mavro were solid.

Disasi has a touch of arrogance (confidence) about him.
  • Well he was fit enough to charge up the pitch and have a shot in injure time
  • The actual starting 11 is now balanced & half decent - it wasn’t before January

We actually could bring on several options - Traore, Pablo, Potts, Magassa

We look a competent football side & I’d back us to pick up results in any game (I know we won’t, be we are capable of)

A few months ago you’d look at certain games & say ‘write that off’, but not now
  • I'm in the sticks so had to follow the match on BBC live. The feed kept dropping, and every time the little dots came up, my heart sank, expecting a Burnley goal. By 1am I was a nervous wreck. At 1.01am I was a happy Hammer 😁

I'm still worried about how Burnley were able to come back at us in the second half. We still defend too deep and it was sheer luck that Burnley didn't score.
The way Manure are playing under Carrick is going to present an entirely different challenge on Tuesday.
I liked that Nuno brought Potts on to strengthen the midfield and give some more protection to the defence.
Disasi looked as if he's been playing regularly all season and when Todibo's red card is over, I can't see Kilman ever getting back in the first team, unless there are injuries.

It was on BBC? What channel was that?
  • I think Kuching means the BBC live text updates on the website
  • From the BBC comments section:

"Brilliant play by Kilman for staying on the bench"

"His positional sense is so bad it was probably the Burnley bench." (edited)
