Wilson signed knowing he was probably going to be a back up striker so why didn't we just sign Taty to replace Fullkrug and leave everything unchanged. Wouldn't the money paid for Pablo have been better used on getting a new centre half.
I think it's nice to have options up front. I like the pairing of Pablo & Taty (though Pablo looks lost sometimes), and then to be able to have Wilson off the bench is a nice situation to be in.
Wilson simply knows where the goal is...Taty & Pablo have both impressed me in both games, considering it's a new league, club etc etc, but we MUST keep Wilson, PLEASE.
Pablo looks like he doesn’t know where his feet are but he is very involved in games and is a bit of a nuisance for the opposition. I think the pairing can do a decent job tiring out defenders for when Wilson comes on.
I like that we have options up top, Taty and Pablo look like a promising pairing, Pablo looks a little slow and I think it will take him some time to get up to speed but he clearly knows how to make a nuisance of himself and with Wilson as back up….i like what I am seeing

This is what we should be protesting against, getting rid of a recognised goal scorer just doesn’t make sense. But there again it’s Sullivan, and nothing he does makes sense.
Just for once in what seems a very dark season, it feels so good tonight, I know,I know there’s a long way to go and it’s only one win but it was THEM! Well anyway it’s cheered me right up. ⚒️❤️🍷

He did look like he has 2 left feet. But I'm thinking a bit more training with the squad, and experience in PL will enable him to be better positioned and better reacting. With better end product.
Imagine if we were able to bring on Wilson, Paqueta and Soucek at 65 mins.
I’m not saying my input to yesterday’s victory was crucial, but I missed the entire game yesterday. How was Castellanos? I have a feeling that, even if he doesn't score a goal, his presence in the team influences the front line to move close to the opponent’s goal.
The side Nuno selected & formation was probably the most balanced we’ve had out all season. We didn’t have to fit Paquetá (who nobody really knows where he plays best) into the 11, we had square pegs in square holes & the wingers plus two strikers gave Spurs lots to consider. As a result of that we defended better as a side & the back four (particularly first half) had less to deal with.
Really good performance & result. Maybe the start of a second half push to try & reduced that gap. Need to keep winning & worrying about our own results.

I thought he was good - very busy. I know Wilson scored, but seeing the mobility of Taty up front highlights how little Wilson (and Fullkrug) is able to hold up the ball. Luke’s right we had less to do in defence because of it
Just had a chance to watch MOTD and thought we were lucky not to concede quite a few in the 2nd half especially. There seemed to be some of the same defensive frailties we've suffered all season.

I agree - It was a complete turn around after half time, I always felt we were going to get two or three in the first half after the first goal came, but in the second half I felt they were going to get two or three.
All I am happy about at present is we have a scintilla of hope again, but as they say, it's the hope that kills you.
All we can do is worry about ourselves. I felt we were down weeks ago & still feel it’s too big an ask. But, we can only worry about ourselves, not Forest, not Leeds or anybody else. We have 16 games to go & we need to win 6 of them. Burnley, Leeds, Wolves still to play & we know when we get into those final 10 games, we will face sides with nothing really to play for.
Another couple of signings & 3 points in what will be a tough game next Saturday would be huge (it would be 3 wins on the bounce). Forest are the side closest to us but if we can grow in form/confidence & just worry about us, it may end up being more than just Forest.
