Odd tactics from Nuno, unless there are injuries we are not aware of, but to hack Wilson off at 50 mins, 10 minutes too early at least IMO.... Bournemouth had around 25 attempts on goal, Areola IMO saved our bacon today.......
I didn’t see the first half due a combination of my granddaughter’s birthday party and a rubbish stream, but I saw the second. What was that all about ?😳You can’t defend that deep for 45 minutes!Absolutely bonkers tactics and substitutions. If it wasn’t for Areola we would’ve been well beaten. Yeah I would’ve settled for a point at 3 pm , but that was two points chucked away 🤬
A draw away from home against a side ten places above us we would normally think is a good result, it’s just so disappointing because at the halfway mark we were leading by two goals, As ever, our defence let us down, and the midfield failed badly to push up in the second half. It was two points dropped that seemed to be there for the taking, and Nuno’s tactics are up for questioning yet again,
Gont understand Wilson coming off so early. Fullcrug did nothing as far as I could see and some of our passing was so school boyish. Pleased with the result though
Nuno is both a hero and idiot all in the same match!
He was a hero in coming off two great results and managing to gain a two goal lead at half time against an in form team. He then decides we are rubbish and couldn't possibly go on to assert further and retreats into his own final third with one of the shakiest defences in the league, absolute idiot!
I would have been delighted with a draw before kick off, yet this feels like the worst kind of loss, the type you brought on your self.
A long way still to go but I think the current bottom 4 will be the relegation battle. Can't really see any of the others above getting pulled into it.
Going to be a long season if Nuno continues being this negative.
That’s what I said the other week, it’s us or the bottom 3. Nobody else will be in it come May.
Often a team drops into trouble that you wouldn't expect; the team with the worst form over the last 6 matches, apart from Wolves, is Liverpool. If only 😂🤣😂.
What annoyed me was not the subs - they've worked before - but the hoofball tactics. No attempt to keep possession and use up time, just gifting them the chance to attack. I'm amazed they only scored twice
