Nino is you. You are Nuno

That nasty accident you had when you were five, when a horse kicked you in your head, has caused you for some reason to accept the job of West Ham manager. With the current owners, current squad, current setup, and the current situation.
So, Mr. Holy Spirit, what are you going to do between now and the game against Everton, managed by West Ham’s most successful manager* on Monday?

*over more than 12 games, Trevor Brooking!

  • For a start, I'd change the prevailing wind and sea currents. I, El Nino, have done this many times 😆😆
  • I think the first thing he has to do is stop the toxicity in the club. I feel he has to call a meeting and tell the players “with all the different managers, back rooms, directors of football and recruiters, you’re the only constant!” He needs to make sure the players take appropriate -not full- ownership of the position the club is in. Then I’d acknowledge that the next two games have been written off by everyone anyway, and tell the U21’s and reserves they’ve got as much of a chance as the senior team, and put them out. I think going into that job and sticking with the majority of the first XI shows you think the team is close to getting it right, when a total change of mindset is needed. If a player has a prpblem with being dropped, they can prove themselves over the coming week. At least watching the U-21’s against Everton would offer the fans something different to watch!
  • I think he just needs put some springs in Kilmans boots and let him know he is allowed to head the ball.
  • For starters, I think he needs to show JWP where the bench is and I would like to see more of Guilherme - I think there is a decent player in there somewhere.
