  • JWP booked, but mainly because Rodriguez was too slow to get to the ball.
  • I swear that we are physically incapable of stringing three passes together whenever we have a lead
  • Probably because they have very little experience of leading
  • All Wolves atm, scary times.
  • 2-2
  • Even scarier, they've brought on their 6'8" striker on.
  • I’m going to watch Taskmaster again
  • Again Areola really shoulda done better, although there was a bit of a deflection on it.
  • It was coming = we just sat back and invited them on
  • 3-2 now. Totally pathetic defending. Don’t know how to mark players.
  • So.
Why oh why did Potter not make a sub?

Unreal, Wolves score another. 3-2 Wolves. And again Areola doesn't get a shot away safely.
  • As we all said, relegation this season is a certainty

Fullkrug coming on, but we've completely lost all momentum.

Todibo off. Wilson also on for Rodriguez.
  • We are proving we are the worse team in the PL by some way. May well also include the championship
  • All over. What have we all done to deserve supporting West Ham 😭😭😭?
  • I want Potter to do well but I dont understand his team selection or tactics. Why bring Fullkrug and Wilson on with 5mins to go? they should have been on 20 mins earlier (or one of them). We were too reliant on Bowen. Paqueta was quite wasteful at times so wont be sorry if he leaves (assuming we get a good replacement) Another frustrating watch
  • I want West Ham to do well.

    Something needs to change.

About sums up the match, halfway through the first half and not a single comment, matching the number of attempts on goal we've managed.

Can't comment cos can't get a working stream.
Cheers, Pengeman. i moved the link you posted over to the streams thread. For future reference + privacy :-)
    Thanks
  • Lost the game due to poor selection and tactics. Players lacking confidence just sat back and invited Wolves. Potter didn't bring on any strikers to hold the ball upfield and give the defence some respite. We can't defend balls into the box. Another headed goal conceded. 11 goals conceded in 3 games. Chris Wood must be licking his lips for the weekend game.
  • No doubt we were beaten, and I agree with some of the posts, so no excuse!
But was it a penalty? I thought the Wolves player threw himself down, and there was very little contact. I couldn’t slow my picture down , so can anyone help with right answer?

Trying to grasp on to anything here. 😭⚒
  • and to top it off Bowen get into an altercation with fans in the away end. This club is done-zo.

It does not matter if we sack Potter or not, this squad of players is down in its current format.

Yeah, what was that all about? Last thing we need is to annoy Bowen while the transfer window is still open.

    Positives:

    KWP
    Soucek
    Paqueta
We didn't lose by 3 or more
    We scored twice
We have a signing coming tomorrow

    Negatives:

    Midfield
    Defence
    Striker
    Keeper
    Losing late
    Mentality of the side
    Crosses
    Bowen scuffle
  • We were better tonight. I know it's not a lot in the grand scheme of defeat (& I still feel we may well go down this year), but we were much better than we were against Sunderland & Chelsea. 8 minutes away from victory. We weren't great, but we were better & competitive.

The bench was the key; theirs v ours. That points to recruitment, again.
  • Although we can still see why we wanted a keeper, just a shame he seems worse than our current one. Maybe we need another. Areola a mess for all of those goals.

I thought you were certain we're going down.
