Watching the first game back, it was clear that Potter has been working on a lot of things since he’s been here (& the team). The recycling of the ball, drawing pressure from opposition players, then sending the ball between the lines to create space & one on one moments was really good (it was how we scored our excellent goal). Just a bit more execution & physical improvement & there is lots to be excited about, especially if we make a couple of crucial signings in midfield.
Had fun this afternoon on the Sailgate party - essentially a fan event on the Chicago River with pizza, drinks and few luminaries to chat to - lot of fun and many thanks to all involved in arranging it - it rained a bit but not enough to spoil the party, I think the weather gods are smiling nicely on us for the game itself so the games afoot.
Could be a tough watch for me, got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes today, put on medication and was strongly advised not to drink alcohol in the short term while they see if this medication will work, so I'm going to have to watch us play completely sober 😱😱😱.

Potts looks very comfortable sat in midfield. Paqueta looks busy and the best player on the pitch. Marshall is working hard. I expect AWB, Bowen, Aguerd and Fullkrug to be on soon.

Good luck, in all sorts of ways.
And Paqueta scores as their keeper makes a howler.
I expect AWB, Bowen, Aguerd and Fullkrug to be on soon.
