Let's be honest, the green blob is going to make any kit look dreadful. When Villa had them as a sponsor, the circle was white but Brady's negotiating obviously wasn't up to getting that deal for us.
Isn't the green bit the Intuit sponsership, the same as last year
It is, Intuit Quickbooks became our official sleeve sponsor in March last year and we've been wearing the "green blob" since July when the last season's home kit was launched

All of those look so much better (obviously apart from the fact that it's Villa not us) than the green blob we've got on our sleeve which is just horrendous and completely at odds with our club colours.
Regardless of the adverts, for me, the home kit is average...not enough blue for me..A bit boring...
I think, in itself and apart from the logos, it's not too bad, but not as our shirt; it would be ok as a training top, but not as our matchday shirt as it doesn't really represent our club colours. As you say, not enough blue.
BTW the man who negotiated the Intuit sleeve sponsorship, the JD Sports sleeve sponsorship before that and all the other sponsorships since January 2022 was Chief Commercial Officer Nathan Thompson who was promoted to Executive Director (Commercial, Marketing, Digital and Content) in March
Reports that his promotion was a step on the way to becoming Managing Director and replacing Brady have been denied by the club
