  • It’s definitely part of the plan. The idea is to keep the ball, draw them out, then break the lines. The problem is teams know if they come out we’ll muck it up, like for the goal
  • I’d suggest Paqueta on for Rodriguez & give it 5-10 mins. Then Füllkrug on & see what we can do by being more direct.
  • A frustrating half, we are only one down and that was due to a complete howler but the truth is that we have not created mulch and Areola made a couple of outstanding saves so on another day, even without the howler we could easily have found ourselves two down at the half way point.

We simply need to do a bit better moving the ball through midfield in the second half
  • No point in use getting a striker if Potter won’t play them.
  • Potter needs to start earning his corn, this is painful to watch.
At least MrsGrey has got some wet paint to look at. =)
  • Probably 3 of the 4 being released would love to stay. Most of those being retained would likely love to leave. I can’t see why Fullkrug for one would want to stay.

I wouldn't be upset to see Kilman leave, he seems to think the ball is krytonite.
Can say that for a number of players.
  • Huge amount of timewasting by Forest already.
  • I think Potter was a big mistake. He was very negative at Brighton and Chelsea and is more concerned with not conceding many than with trying to score b
  • Buffy West Ham have wasted a huge amount of all our time since august.
  • Plenty of subs about to come on.
  • How does Rodriguez warrant a yellow for that?

Looks like Füllkrug, Paqueta, Soler and Alvarez coming on.

Edit: off go Cresswell, Soucek, JWP and Rodriguez I think
  • So now he actually wants to win the match!
  • My stream had AWB going off, but I don't think he did.
  • You just knew it
  • And there's the second.
  • Musta been very close to offside.
  • Did Fullkrug come on?

Someone looks offside but it’s hard to know who

Long VAR but I think it is going to stand - one of the forests guys may have been but it didn’t come off him

Clearly offside, he’s offside and he moves towards the ball but yet another farce of the system
  • Will be a very interesting lap of shame at the end of this if anybody stays behind for it or even until the final whistle.

Yep, if he's offside and he's that close to the ball (which he was) then it has to be offside even if the other player got the touch.
  • Why did it take so long? If he wasn’t interfering with play surely it should take you about 10 seconds to decide that.

The question is how can you say he isn't interfering with play when he tries to play the ball and is only a fraction away from touching it?
  • Doesn’t take 10 seconds to know none of our players interfere with play.

Totally agree. VAR just afraid to make the correct call.
  • I really like Todibo and Kilman individually, but I can’t help but feel they would both be better if they played next to Craig Dawson. They are both too quiet and they just need a no nonsense guy beside them
