  • I count 10 out of the 22 players in the squad today who are unlikely to be with us next year. No surprise that there os a lack of togetherness.
  • Great work by Paqueta, running around making sure he was constantly available, then winning a free kick. The sort of work that often goes unnoticed or unappreciated.

    Probably because it rarely happens.
  • Pleased that we rarely tried to play out from the back but, Fullkrug was disappointing as the target man getting blown up for offsides and clumsy fouls.

Fulkrug made no difference whatsoever, he was caught offside numerous times, and committed simply poor and somewhat naive fouls exactly what @Brother_Sledge said....

Paqueta was really emotional after being booked, which Potter talked about.

I personally don't agree with @IronHerb and his comments re Paqueta above, for all his antics/going down easily etc etc, IMO he often get's involved and tracks back etc etc, he might not always succeed or it come off, but he certainly IMO gives his all......

Yesterday was such an average game, Spurs played for nothing, as they have bigger things to think about.
We tried , but it was again, nowhere near good enough, it was a dull match...One of the most boring London derbies against a team we are usually wanting to give it a real go against, but yesterday, it just didn't seem to happen, we weren't terrible, but it wasn't good by any means IMO.....
  • We fans think that a match against another London club is a derby and especially one against Spurs, but since we don’t have one Londoner in our side, it is no surprise that the players should think of it as just another game; nothing special. It is a disconnect between us and our team, and we feel much more disappointed in not winning than the players.
  • I got the (probably wrong) impression that players were reluctant to to pass to Fullkrug. And was it instructions or incompetence that saw all three forwards bunched together in the cf slot so often? The wingback didn't make particularly effective wingers imo. But we didn't lose or concede a late goal 👍

IMO players will be fully aware of how important some fixtures are compared to others ( from fan’s point of views ) regardless where they come from… They surely have the same local derbies /type of matches in their own countries….That’s just my thoughts though…👍🏻
