I missed this last summer, but the club have actually been dead transparent about their academy coaching structure. It's really interested to see how everything is shaped now.
We drew our final U21s game last night, 1-1 away to Boro. We currently sit 3rd, although are vulnerable to be overtaken by Man Utd and one of Chelsea or Palace who play each other in their final match. So the worst we can be is seeded 5th of 16 going into the play-offs.
Just looking to see how Earthy got on today from the Bristol City forum. One fan has posted a league table from the last 10 matches and they are top. They have got themselves into a good position in the play off places, with games against Luton, Leeds and Preston they should be able to get the points to keep themselves there.
'Another excellent home win.
After the sending off I thought we played into their hands. The second half was much better - we moved the ball quicker and kept them penned in. Superb goal from Dickie and a good finish by McCrorie too. After that we managed the game well.
Earthy was our standout player for me. The more I see of him the more I like him.'
Earthy struggled for game time at the start of the season, I think he had an injury early on and then he struggled to get into the team. However, the second half of the season he has thrived and, from what I thought might be a bit of a waste of a loan, it actually seems to have turned into a really good experience, both for him and Bristol City who are currently 5th, 4 points clear of 7th and in with a good shout of making the play-offs with just 3 games remaining.

Btw, we finished the league part of the season seeded 4th for the play-offs.
